All Sports Soccer stores are changing the name to Sports world, so if you have a Sports soccer near you there will be a sale ! I have a very large brand new Sports World in my Town and the layout and design of the shop is much improved and still very cheap but the customer service is poor !

Good. I hope they close down forever. This shop is/was the epitome of bed customer service. None of the staff had a clue what they sold, they would leave you waiting behind people who`se prices were being checked despite many non-triers "working" on the shop floor , they would close checkouts after you had waited for 20 minutes, they would chew gum whilst serving you, the store was laid out in an unbelievably terrible way, they would talk quite frankly about their personal life across the store whilst "working".

By far, the worst run shop in britain. and I mean, by far.

Dazco, I have to say I have to second that! My local is in Preston & my son's dragged me there this evening. Dispite a closing down sale sign in the window the prices were exactly the same as a couple of weeks ago. I am always amazed at the lack of customer service and at how rude the staff can be, as you say even speaking about their private issues instead of serving :eek:

Ha Ha LOL, I live in Preston but have also had the same "service" at Trafford centre, where I used to work, and at Bolton. Ithink

Sports Soccer is run by 16 year olds who seem to think they are in the playground rather than working in a store serving members of the general public. The shop is always a mess, members of staff try to hide rather than help anyone, they make it seem like they ae doing you a favour by assisting you and serving you. Hopefully the stores will all close down and then we can get a real shop in its place where customer service does exist

agree that sports soccer is too cramped and staff can be rude, but i love the prices so am glad they are not shutting down.

No. I would rather it died a death. I have lived abroad most of my adult life and I often think " what would a foreign tourist think of this " and the 2 worst things |I would like to compare with another country are Sports Soccer and our taxis/taxi drivers. Not in any order.

What exactly Is BED customer service? Never been offered that in MY local Soccer Sport!
