A list of winners is proof that such a draw took place. Otherwise these companies could just say you could win 10k in order to get a load of money put into their accounts and not actually hold a draw at all - who's to know?flaneurs_lobster said:
I don't doubt for a moment that you can ask for such a list.beario said:
At least someone has emailed them and is trying to find out the list of winners - well done for the effort @0765peter
Hopefully we'll get a response soon.
I'm just wondering why? What would you do with it?

If you believe the draw may never have taken place, you can complain to the ASA.

I am curious how they counted entries if you paid in over 10k (2 preliminary entries) then paid out a couple of thousand but still had more than 5k left, would that leave you with 1 entry or would both entries not stand? That really isn't explained in the T&C's, it just says "leave [the deposists] there" until the end of the promotional period for it to count.Lens said:
I do disagree with this statement. It did not have to be exactly £5k to enter it could be any amount above £5k or over £10k for two entries and so on. Out of 5 million customers, including current and savings accounts there must be a huge number that fit this criteria.beario said:
I think it would be quite difficult to enter this draw "accidentally" because people had to deposit increments of 5k in order to receive entries and they had to enter before the end of September and remain there until October.Lens said:There could be a million or more individual entries to this competition, and many from TSB customers who would be totally unaware even of the existence of the competition. This means that the chance of someone on here winning one of the 155 or so prises is a tiny percentage. That said it would be nice if TSB had actually acknowledge that they have relieved your entry, and maybe an automated email or notification to unsuccessful entrants. I had two entries, one postal and one depositing the £5k but obviously unsuccessful. I have entered competitions with other banks as well and a similar experience.
Will be interesting to see what comes of the complaint though.0 -

The lesson I'm taking from this is to not go out of my way to enter competitions that have an automatic opt in.4 -
Among several family members we made what should have been over 100 entries. It is really unlikely not to have won anything. I'm not saying it was rigger but something just feels off.1

Unless TSB tell us how many entries were submitted in total (and I can't think why they haven't/wouldn't) then it's rather hard to determine what odds you actually had of winning a prize.newlease said:Among several family members we made what should have been over 100 entries. But would you feel differently if the odds were 50/1 or 5M/1?1
