I have thoroughly cleaned a street-found coat to sell on vinted, and finished the big start of the month flat clean, only a day over within the first week 👀😂https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

I thought I posted in here yesterday, but now I can't see it, so maybe I didn't.
Anyway, yesterday decluttered some paint brushes and rollers that were too hard to save. I also decluttered 6 plants, a large cushion, and a throw/blanket to someone from work who is moving house.
Today I went for a long dog walk with friends and I'm counting that as an OAT as we've been meaning to do it for months, and also because my poor dogs haven't had a long walk or been to a new place since I got Covid again in September.Debts 04/01/25 01/11/25

I haven't posted for ages but I haven't just been sitting around looking decorative and elegant like a wealthy aristocrat from days gone by - honest I haven't.
however, I'm going to try to keep up to date with OATs achieved during the rest of November. I'm also very excited for the start of our second MSE Advent thread soon.
today we cleaned the carpets in the hall and bedrooms. My contribution was positive motivation for MrBC who was in charge of the carpet cleaning machine. I then cleaned the skirting boards, changed the bedlinen, dusted furniture and generally did domestic goddess type work.I also did a task that required doing sums, checking figures and setting out my work in my best writing and explaining it to MrBC. It really helps us with some important future planning and it is reassuring to know the facts rather than guess or speculate.2 -
I’ve actually finished a crochet project 😊 A super chunky pink blanket ❤️

Ooh, I've not joined in MSE advent before. What happens? (Although I confess im not remotely ready for it to be anywhere near December yet!) 😱
This evening I am mostly enjoying using my new kitchen bin 😂😂 Mr C wants it in the dining room end of the kitchen, but as he's gone out and I was sick of walking back and forth, I've moved it to where it SHOULD be. Hoping he won't notice (it's the same colour as the wall 🤭) but he's a perceptive man so I suspect it'll last five minutes...4 -
Just tell him it's a kitchen bin, it needs to be in the kitchen.3

Mr C can discuss where to put it once he's got rid of the rat @Cheery_Daff!
MSE Advent is a thing we started last year and it was fun and money saving and often poignant and life affirming! Very Christmassy and just the thing to bring gladness in the dark and cold ✨️
