Any mention of the minimum monthly amount for a regular investment plan??
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

I'll also be interested in how 'flexible' the regular investing option is.

I can't remember if it was HL or AJB, but I used to use the RI option to actually make one off bulk purchases, and then after processing stop the RI.  I think it functioned because the provider allowed the RI to be deducted from the cash on account rather than only via direct debit / SO from a bank account.

Won't be able to log in (or apply) until after midnight it seems.
The tech guy at iweb is probably trying to remember how to update the HTML he wrote 20 yeas ago.

About the new free regular investing...I can't see anywhere that there's a minimum amount mentioned.🤔

    Is there one?

    I would expect at least £50 or £100 a month, but I can't see for looking 😕

    Not a good start!
Having been involved in many software migrations in my career, it’s not something that happens instantly.  That’s why these things usually happen over weekends and away from busy times like financial year end.  It’s quite normal for access to be unavailable for a day or two.  What’s poor is the lack of communication from IWeb about how the migration was going to be done.

    More info here https://www.scottishwidows.co.uk/investing/ways-to-invest/share-dealing-services/regular-investments.html

There's a 'subscription plan' for adding cash from your bank account, and a 'regular investment plan' that invests a fixed or percentage amount of cash in your account.

In the FAQ it says: "Yes, you can stop at any time. But, you must suspend both your Subscription Plan and Investment Plan individually."

I would think that means you might be able to do what you wanted.

    Thanks, I see it now.

It does seem to be restricted though, as i've also seen..

"Pick one of our three investment funds, and choose your account. That’s it. Our experts will invest your money so it has a chance to grow."

So, I'm guessing that you can't pick your own fund for this "free" option, that's why its free!
    ;)

I was hoping to be able to do free monthly investing into the fund I already hold in my ISA.

I am unable to access any SW website/ account. However, when I go to my original iWeb login, I can log in as normal into iWeb. So as things stand, my account has not been migrated and is still with iWeb and not SW.

I suppose the clue is in the message I am being shown, with the word "from" being the key, as follows:

"From 18 October you'll see IWeb start to move over to Scottish Widows Share Dealing"

So, "from" seems to suggest the migration may happen at some point at a future date! So for now, I am being reatined within iWeb!

I can't login yet to double check but it doesn't appear to be restricted, "...Add investment using the investment name, ticker, or ISIN code." Also see the FAQ section.
