My tariff is just about to expire - I have been on Fixed August 2024 v1
I am unable to see any more tariffs - despite Octopus claiming to make it easy to change tariffs !!
I don't use much power and don't have any panels/batteries or EV
Is there a new fixed tariff ?
How do I select it ?

The latest and probably the best so far is 12m fixed August 2025 V2, came out yesterday.
Seems to be cheaper than the last six tariffs.

How do I find it ?
    Octopus don't make this easy
    1. Log in to your Octopus account

    2. Click 'Change my tariff': it's one of the first options under your account balance.

    3. There, you can compare your energy costs on your current tariff to our other available tariffs.

    4. If you see an option you like, you'll be able to switch to it yourself online.

Its NOT there on my account

You have to phone, email or Twitter them to change tariff now.

    Pop your postcode in here:

    https://octopus.energy/tariffs/

Filter by domestic and find a suitable tariff.

Email octopus on hello@octopus.energy telling them which tariff you want to switch to.

    Simples.

It does not show whilst you are in a fixed tariff term, it only shows when you are on variable. In terms of tariff to move to you have the choice of the SVT, or the new fixed tariff that they will have emailed you about, that is pretty much it without having an EV/Heat Pump/Solar/Battery/E7.

The electric standing charge is 17p per day less, that's £62 per year saving. The unit rate has gone up by 3.43p/kWh. So the break even usage for electricity is 1800 kwh. If you're a low user surely you'll save. The change to the gas prices is not very great, £4 per year on standing charge and 0.15p/kWh on usage

Not that simple, by the time they read the email the tariff could be replaced by V3.
Last month they had 7 tariffs.
    Better to phone.
