Blue badge form cost £3.60 for recorded delivery postage. Tomorrow we can pay the £10 when I see my father.

We are all safely back from the Devon trip for the funeral. It was a lovely service, a good turnout from the village. Some family who live nearby didn't come including my father's brother who he hoped to see. I was very proud of my father, it was a physically very demanding trip and he did well. Little sis was hard work in places for me but got through everything ok and ate well. We found a cheap place to stay. I managed to contain myself and dealt with everything really well. OH was a total hero.

Our house looks like a laundry, stuff everywhere none of it ours. It will go back to them tomorrow. I applied for quite a few jobs yesterday, as did OH. I feel very removed from my old life. Can't quite imagine it.

The lift at the hospital is working again. We won the quiz again this week, I knew more answers than usual that nobody else did and it felt good.

Survey balance £11.67 and £16.43 back in the savings pot so £28.10 repaid so far. £90.90 to go.

Little Sis came out again for Easter. It seems like she waits until I am tired and ready to go home and then starts with digs and barbs. I dealt with it fairly well. She came off section last week and is being discharged home today. Probably with no support and help. Eek. I am having lots of nightmares and feeling anxious. Walks help but we stayed in yesterday as OH put his back out. I will get out today regardless.

An item sold for £1 and survey total pending is £8.15 with £23.79 already back in the pot. £86.06 to repay.

The scales are going down a little which is good, especially after a huge number of mini eggs inexplicably disappeared near me over the weekend. I have ignored job hunting over Easter and we are putting off choosing an estate agant. Can't decide between the underwhelming lot last time on the basis they have everything in place already and trying one of the other two we didn't go with last year.

I ehould add it hs really been odd to know there is no more money at the end of March. We have some savings but our bills exceed universal credit when it comes in later this month. We can hopefully then claim council tax discount which will help. Little sis can do the same, I may offer to help her with it on Sunday. Tomorrow is all about my father not her. We had planned a day of his things in town around a hearing check.

I had a similar issue with disappearing mini eggs too - perhaps it was a faulty batch?

I hope some support is put in place for your sister when she goes home. You can't do it all.

Good luck with the job hunting.

    Definitely a faulty batch blackcats!

Big news is we chose the estate agent on Friday, signed terms of business with 1.4% off the fee and did a lot of house tidying and cleaning. The first viewing was yesterday, a photographer is coming on Tuesday morning.

It looks like there is no support in place for little sis going back home I had a better day with her on Thursday. After my father's appointment I went with her to wash the car and adjust the tyre pressure. She seemed in a better headspace and didn't attack me with barbed comments. It looks like it's up to her now to build better daily habits for showering, eating, sleeping, shopping, cooking etc. I feel very restricted in how much I can help so will just do max 2 days a week and only if my father pays for petrol/train. With Universal Credit not covering our bills the money just isn't there.

I repaid £8.43 survey money into the holiday pot. Balance was £247.34, currently pot has £160.96 £2.60 pending and £83.78 to repay.

We are visiting and cooking roast chicken for lunch today. I will offer to help with the housework rather than just do it. Fingers crossed.

No family visit until Sunday - yay! I will have to phone though.

Today we need to look into council tax reduction for universal credit and continue cleaning and tidying for house photos tomorrow.

I picked up a few more surveys. Pot is £160.96 with £6.70 pending. £80.68 to go.

exciting progress on your house sale.

Good that you can have a break from travelling to visit the family this week. I have to ring my dad every day to tell him which channel the snooker and football and darts are on 😉
