I ordered 3 of the standard hampers but 3 finest hampers have arrived instead.:j Good contents but most have best before dates in 2008. Shouldn't have too much trouble getting through it though.

Our 2 arrived this morning. They were mostly Ok but the tins were dented a bit and the cranberry sauce had to be thrown out cos it has leaked. Still very good value. Mum and Dad had the other one and theirs was fine. Have drunk the white wine (fab) and sampled the chocolate and coffee ( much better than we are used to). A bargain.

Does any one have an idea what you do with quince jelly?

I think you can use it like redcurrant jelly and have it with cold meats or put in sauces to have with roast meats.

Must be a problem with the cranberry sauce jars! I did a collect at store for my order, they rang to say it was in but damaged. Jar of cranberry had leaked over everything, luckily the biscuits were also wrapped in plastic so didn't suffer too much, the rest just needed a good rinse. SA did ask if we still wanted it but at just over £9 was worth it for just the wine! No offer of a reduction for the damage but I'm still a happy bunny!

Got 2 hampers delivered today and one of my Cranberry Sauces had leaked too! Good job I don't like it anyway.

Great pressies for grandparents next year (except wine, chocs and biccys of course - wouldn't want them to go off).

75cl Tesco Finest Premier Cru Champagne, 75cl Tesco Finest Gavi White Wine, 75cl Tesco Finest Vintage Claret, 454g Tesco Finest Christmas Pudding, 125ml Tesco Finest Balsamic Oil, 142g Tesco Finest Almond and Piri Stuffed Olives, 340g Tesco Finest Strawberry Conserve, 200g Tesco Finest Apple Tomato and Garlic Chutney, 165g - All with BBD after Christmas 2008

300g Tesco Finest Biscuits for Cheese, 200g Tesco Finest Cranberry and Orange Cookies, 150g Tesco Finest Fudge, 165g Tesco Finest Scottish Shortbread, 360g Tesco Finest Silverskin Onions in Balsamic Vinegar, 125g Tesco Finest Black Olive and Basil Twists, 165g Tesco Finest Mustard and Dill Sauce, 227g Tesco Finest Columbian Coffee, 340g Tesco Finest Dark Orange Marmalade, 200g Tesco Finest Belgian Chocolates - All with BBD before Christmas 2008

I also got a standard one at the higher price of £18.74. I would say that the finest one is excellent value as the alcohol alone is worth £26.00 but the food items aren't so much to our tastes and there is not that much with long BBD. Overall I am very pleased with both - the standard as the food items will last longer and we will eat more of the item and the finest one is great for the alcohol.

My 6 hampers arrived yesterday (poor delivery man was SOAKED by the torrential rain). Have opened one and I am so impressed!!!

I didnt realise the hamper included a bottle of Cava as well as the Pinot Grigio and the table red. This one bottle alone is worth the price!! Have checked the dates and they are all either 2009 or 2010 - so will definately keep until Christmas (if I dont drink/eat them myself first!!)

    THANKYOU OP. A wonderful bargain!!!
