  • We seem to have been lucky too, nothing broken in ours.

Not tried anything yet as we have LOADS still left over from Christmas, but looking forward to those biscuits now! :j
  • Opened both of mine to check for breakages after reading on here about everyones broken jars, mine were mint :D . Galettes were indeed jummy, red wine (Italian table) not so nice, but I'm sure the other stuff will more than make up for it ;) .

Made the mistake of being honest and saying that I had received 5, and theyhad cancelled the dearer order. So now they have recharged me for the extra 2, although it was at the £9.37 so at least they were still a bargain. Just no room to move in my flat now.!!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • picked my 3 hampers up on saturday and i'm realy pleased with them:j . only found 1 thing that was leeking, quince jelly (not even sure what you have that with???) DD likes the short bread, i let my ex-DH have a bottle of the red wine, for giving me a lift to pick them up, big mistake, as he then talked me in to opening a 2nd one, i had to let him sleep on the sofa as the was no way he could of got home. :rotfl: :rotfl: my bed room that i de-junked the other week, now has 3 hampers stuck in the corner.
Back on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/140

Tried calling Tesco customer services a few times yesterday, select 2 for enquiries.... sorry we are to busy to bother with you..... tried again today same message, so pressed 1 for new order... suprise suprise got through. All credit to chap who dealt with my enquirey, came up as failed to pick, so they had canceled order...... But what a **** company, email to say it wouldnt of hurt instead of "contact customer services" ( who wont take call and you will be cut off) against order on tesco site.
Great for everyone who got theres, obviousley am a bit disapointed i didnt get one, but more annoyed at lack of communication, getting cut of lots of times and rubbish stock control.
Rant over..... roll on the next bargain yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :)
Nope.... Still cant think of owt interesting to put here.

Thought I'd better check mine to see if there were any breakages.....just one jar of Quince jelly broken...shan't bother complaining.....just as I was checking them a knock at the door...it was the man from TESCO's......I thought he was calling to collect the 3 extra ones they left on Saturday (the ones I cancelled)...but no...he had the 3 Sims that they had forgotten to leave with the order!!!!!! I wasn't gonna bother calling CS to mention this just in case they realised their mistake....

BTW...How long does it take for monies to be debited from a Tesco CC....I've checked mine to see if the £66 from the cancelled order has been credited back ( I had a mail that said it would take 2 days)..but it hasn't...but neither has any money been taken for the other 6.....

I did see somewhere that they were having problems with their system!...Let's hope they persist!

Can't see many people buying them, they weigh 10kg, would cost a fortune in postage.

My hamper was due on Saturday. It did not arrive so I emailed Tesco. They said that they would contact the Courier Company. Nothing back so far today, despite a further email. They did however send me a Customer Service Survey:rotfl:
