I ordered mine at £18 the evening before they dropped to £9. Anybody know if Tesco will refund the difference, like Amazon when they drop their prices?0

Mine arrived about an hour ago -ordered 3 and got 3. Just finished unpacking and putting all the stuff away.
Very pleased with the contents, but disappointed with the packing INSIDE the hamper. The little bit of shredded brown paper was not enough protection, especially considering all the bottles and jars inside. Amazed that nothing was broken. The packing on the outside was superb though, the basket was wrapped in layers of bubble wrap and tape and then in a strong brown box with lots of brown paper and big bubble wrap around it.
Now left with 3 enormous boxes, 3 wicker baskets (also good quality) and enough wrapping to start my own ebay business!0 -
I eneded up with 4, one each for me and my mother and two for charity raffle prizes. However two had the same 'jelly' item smashed to smithereens, the jelly has gone every where as the hampers were delivered upside down, and the glass is on everything.
I've washed all the packaging and washed the hampers and I will try and save them but I don't know how well the baskets will dry out as I had to hose them down with a pressur ehose to get all the glass out of the weave.
I phoned Tesco and the predicament is that I can either return the two hampers complete for a refund or I can keep them with no partial refund offered. I've decided to keep them as I like the wine and even if I have to throw the packet stuff away I can save all the conserves in glassware. If I can't save the hampers then I'll take the two perfect ones to my two charities tomorrow and not worry about hampers for me and my mum.
So, is you have had yours delivered open them and rummage carefully around inside just in case.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No they won't.......other tried this before they were even delivered to them and the answer was definitely no.. Some poor, unfortunate people made the mistake of cancelling the £18 orders and then trying to place orders for the £9 DOTD....only to find they had sold out and they couldn't even reinstate the £18 orders so they missed out completely.0 -
Mine arrived today - all intact - thanks to the OP for posting.0

Such a good deal I think it is worth a trip to local store just to check if they have any!0

Thanks to OP. Collected ours this afternoon, got 2. 1 was fine and the other had a couple of dented tins and one of the conserves had leaked everywhere, but we're well pleased with them for the money. I've kept the items that are okay for next christmas and we'll eat the rest, obviously we'll have to sample the wine to make sure it's okay!!! Cheers:beer:To err is human, to forgive divine!!!:A0
