LISA Transfer: Moneybox to Tembo

Transfer requested through Tembo app on 1/5 at 8.30pm. Moneybox acknowledged the request via email on 8/5 with option to accept transfer. Moneybox confirmed transfer complete on 11/5 at 6pm and funds seen in Tembo account at this time, with confirmation from Tembo's side by email on 12/5.

Pretty good by all accounts, with Tembo's initial email about my request saying to expect 2-3 weeks and to allow up to 6 weeks. Request was send late on a Friday, with following Monday 4th a Bank Holiday so five working days to complete transfer.

Always pleased with these banks...

ISA moved from Aldermore to Charter, in a smidge over 4 working days.

06 May - Account opened with Charter, and switch requested.

07 May - Aldermore acknowledged it.

09 May - Weekend.

10 May - Weekend.

12 May - On checking another account, I noticed the money was in Charter ISA and available to withdraw (Easy Access)

12 May - later in the day, email received from Aldermore saying "switch complete".

It certainly seems to me that there has been a big improvement generally in the speed of ISA transfers. When I think back just 1 of 2 years and virtually every transfer was taking forever. So, big thank you to all the firm's that have improved….well done.

FR ISA Shawbrook to Manchester

Asked to transfer at maturity. Went without any hitch. Matured into easy access on 8th May (Friday). Funds left Shawbrook on 12th into Manchester 12th. Was kept informed by both parties up til transfer until Manchester forgot to tell me funds were now in my account. Overall very impressed.

New FRISA with Lloyds opened yesterday 21/5. Xfers in from Virgin Money (05) and Principality requested.
Both xfers credited today 22/5.
Impressive from all 3.

UPDATE

Slightly less impressive is that Lloyds have only today 27/5 notified me that they have received the money from my existing provider & the transfer is complete. But at least they told me. Many providers don’t.

Shawbrook to Vanquis, 4 days.

On Friday last week I requested a partial transfer from to Trading 212 from Virgin. I submitted the request at about 6:30am and just after 4pm the same day it was completed. That is impressive!

Shawbrook fixed cash ISA matured Wednesday 9th

Had already opened and instructed a transfer on maturity to Skipton 18month fix ISA

All completed today Friday 11th.
No issues a quick smooth transfer
(Slightly regretting choosing to fix for 18months as it’s appearing that ISA rates are creeping upwards)
