ISA transfer experiences

Spoke to Swansea Building Society 11:30 am Tuesday 28th (yesterday) to finalise ISA transfer from Skipton Building Society to them. Staff member said she would arrange the transfer that afternoon. Today, 29th at 1:30pm the funds are in my Swansea ISA. That's the fastest I've experienced an ISA transfer and am very impressed with Swansea and Skipton.

Marcus to trading 212 took a couple of weeks.
Didn't initially get the promo rate as the letter Marcus sent confirming current tax year funds took another 7 days.
212 bot was meh, but once I got email going they were responsive.
Marcus wouldn't confirm letter had been sent by email, so had to phone them.

Zopa to Virgin Money. 3 working days.
Requested on Friday at 12:49. Completed at 17:10 the following Wednesday.
I fell into the Zopa trap of having a fixed ISA alongside a flexible ISA and wasn't allowed to do a partial transfer until the fixed ISA matured.
The Zopa flexible ISA fell from 3.50% to 3.25% months ago while my Virgin Money Flexible ISA has been 4.11% since 19 May 2025.
Ironically I had transferred from another Virgin Money ISA (at 4.11%) last year to Zopa when Zopa were offering 5.01%. But that only lasted a few months before the dramatic drop to 3.50% and then to 3.25%.
Guess it is a lesson to read the Ts&Cs and not assume all banks are the same.

First the good experience:
All related to my mum's ISA's and I normally see her once a week on a Sunday.
Nationwide to YBS in January this year. Requested on a Sunday. She got the text/email on Tuesday saying the process has been started. Text/email on Wednesday say the process was complete and the money was in the YBS ISA.
The not so good: YBS to YBS
On 12/4/26, opened a YBS One year saver ISA (4.05%) and funded it from an EA account.
On 19/4/26 asked to transfer the previous ISA (3.6%) to the new one year ISA. Was told it could take upto 7 working days.
A day or so later she got the text/email saying the transfer process has started. No text/email saying the transfer had finished.
On 26/4/26 tried to login to check was was happening. System would not let us in saying password was incorrect. (I don't think it was). So gave up on that. Weren't too worried as we knew YBS has a couple more working days to make the transfer. Incidentally I too have a YBS account so managed to login later that evening. Edited to add: So maybe a glitch earlier in the day?
Today 3/5/26 managed to login and find the money was transferred on 19/4/26. Though as I said no text/email saying the transfer was complete.
Anyone know if for internal YBS transfers, YBS send text/email saying the transfer is complete? Or is it assumed if the process is started?

Santander to Skipton BS was really quick, opened a FRISA on 5th May and completed the ISA transfer form online at the same time.
Received notification on 6th May that the transfer completed and see the balance updated today.
I requested another transfer from Vanquis to Skipton BS on 6th May, this involved a phone call as Skipton's online form requesting account number and sort code but Vanquis does not use account number for their ISA.
ISA transfer completed on 8th May.
Happy with Skipton BS transfer.

Good experience transferring from Skipton to Coventry. Requested on Friday, message from Skipton today (Tuesday) saying they had processed my request and the money would be with my new provider "within 2 working days". Checked my Coventry account and it had already been credited. Fairly speedy as far as ISAs go.
