bad week for me. Put on 5 and a half Ibs. :(
Just feel like I cant get myself into any sort of routine. Doesnt help that work is stressing me out the moment and my usual answer to this is eating lots of carbs! :/

    This is it!

I just got into my car to drive to work and my trousers were so tight I had to unbutton and unzip them so I could breathe.

Got to work and had to hide between 2 cars so I could do them up again.

I've already had to ask for bigger uniform after I outgrew the original size in February.

    I couldn't contemplate having a relationship (I know that's shallow).

I have no energy and get out if breath and have little palpitation if I do any heavy work. I used yo be reasonably fit and was always very strong.

I'm planning a trip through mainland Europe with my son in November and I don't want to go feeling like this.

I've made 100 excuses. I need to set up the Woo this evening and weigh myself.

@Pixie_Cosmo and @Brambling if it helps for the water retention / bloating, pineapple for water and a bowl of papaya and cucumber is supposed to 'flush' out.

Funny enough the shopping delivery included a pineapple I hadn't ordered but was told to keep so I'll give it a try.

I'm still avoiding the scales, I'm eating too much bread and carbs and hardly any fruit or veg 🫣.  My physio exercises have changed so I'm getting used to new aches again but I'm getting there, just need to sort the water retention but it seems a little better today

Welcome back Frith, sometimes we need a physical reminder that we need to start dieting again and a incentive as in a holiday
They are giving you a hint, aren't they.  Enjoy the pineapple - but not as a fritter.   :)

Over indulgence in recent days led to a 1.5 lb gain (and thus half pound gain for the quarter to date).

I have lost 0.5kg this week. Been using time restricted eating. Definitely feel a better if my first meal is later in day.

  • I'm going to get weighed next week to give the new regime chance to kick in. Just had a look at how many weeks until I next go away, so 1lb a week will shift at least a stone, if not, I've no idea.

Food diary, stomach and aches and pains going well, I feel better to the extent that I can do more activity without the constant pain.  @Soontobeoap, thank you again for the cottage cheese advice, it appears to be working.

@Brambling, could you try putting a side (2 litre, is apparently the amount for water retention), your water for the day, just to check you are not having more than your body wants to get rid of, YouTube has massage videos aimed at water retention, if it helps.

    Have a good week everyone,
