Wow, Friday weighday again! So last week was a STS, this week I've put on 1lb.
@Brambling recovering is the main thing! Take care of yourself.
I've been all over the place food-wise this week. My partner is staying with me, which means we eat much later in the eves when he gets back. I'm starving by the time we eat! I snack in the meantime, and last night I had buttered bread with tea which I don't normally do. I could try eating breakfast later, but I don't normally have it til 9.30/10am anyway.
I'm tired after a busy couple of weeks with friends staying, so I don't feel like exercising. Sorry, bit of a vent this week, feeling very drained. Here's hoping to a restful weekend.7 -
Not weighed in yet, up and down as usual!
@Brambling, hope you are doing well, and the water retention is getting better.
Hi @jules81, not easy making a fresh start, but you are going in the right direction. @Pixie_Cosmo, can you try a protein drink as a stop gap, I've found that it fills me up, hope you get a bit if down time. @Cat@catz4m8z, lovely compliment you have had. @Pen@Pennypincin, well done on standing your ground, fab loss.
I've been to see a dietitian as the NHS one did not cut it for me, another I do this, and I do that, rather than listen to my concerns about, IBS, skin and other problems. Husband suggested I see someone as I've been struggling, as body is just shouting NO all the time. I've been keeping up with my food diary, which was not criticised, it was a well done for increasing the protein but now I want you to increase it by 50%and increase your calories by X amount per day, they said my fruit / clear protein drinks are ok and the mouse I have instead of yogurt, is all good, if I'm getting my protein that way then do it.
Also know why the Dolphins and watermelons keep appearing, along with the IBS, my weight can go up and down by 5/6 pounds within a couple of days, after a not so nice test at the local hospital and quick conversation with a lovely doctor (makes a change) turns out I have a stomach irritation, which I've had for 12 months or more, so it's a step in the right direction.
Things are just starting to look up again. Have a lovely weekend, hope you get a rest if you need it.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

Thanks guysWelcome Jules81 and good luck.Well done on all weigh ins and Cranky congratulations on reaching your target 👏👏
My legs aren't so thick as they were I just need to sort the feet and ankles, currently one old pair of shoes fit. I have been able to do my walking and walked twice as far today as I have been (nor planned!) I was glad to see my front door but tired not achy 🙂 my cooking mojo had still deserted me but I'm limited as I'm not meant to use the oven, I do have a ninja so no real excuse just no incentive at the moment. This to will pass 🙂 just need to sort out the sleeping but I was warned that would be hit and miss for a good few weeks.
Have a good week guys and enjoy you bank holiday tomorrow, now I'm retired it means nothing 😁Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin8 -
