    I am down 0.5kg.

Going back to intermittent fasting/time restricted eating as that's the only way that seems to work.

I sat as far back on it as I comfortably could and then used my good leg under the op one and sort of swung it round .!wasn’t pretty but got easier ,but I was lucky as didn’t get swollen legs
I have a v high bed which pleased the physio but was difficult initially.
.it was my L hip ,I sleep ,with my L leg in the centre of the bed that.
the thing I found hardest was having to sleep on my back for 7 weeks !
It does get easier once the stitches/clips are out or were you glue’d .different surgeons do things differently even in the same hospital !,

Thanks Sue it's my right hip I was sleeping on one side of the bed and swapped last night which was different but not easier!   My surgeon used dissolvable stitches which were all gone yesterday.  The nurse told me they were all different depending on surgeon and the worst she has seem was twice the size of mine and had a lot of staples.

I have regretted my high bed especially when I have to use the loo at 3am. I'm not looking forward to a few more weeks of back sleeping, I usually sleep on my bad side but the alternative isn't so great and will be worth it for being pain free.

    I had staples ( clips ) 24 of them !
apparently my surgeon is the only one still using them in the orthopaedic department
they came out really easily and I have a lovely though long scar !
