Hi guys I hope I haven't missed any updates please shout if I have

sorry for absence I was reading along but brain was on strike! My sister advised me that the good news is I won't become a drug addict as strong medication makes me sick, which is better than the painful alternative 🙂 I have a personal chef and I'm on plain food and ginger snap biscuits 🤷🏼‍♀️
Glad you are improving. I really don't like strong painkillers. I avoid them as much as possible.

Back on my digital scales - STS after three weeks. Frustrating as I have been eating in a deficit, managing longer runs and lots of walking and some workouts. Could be muscle growth I suppose, my clothes do feel bigger now so something is happening! And I can run 5 miles now which I couldn't before :-) Will keep at it, I do feel fitter!

This week I have friends staying, so we'll probably eat out a couple of nights. I'll have to eat less (no snacks!) during the day to compensate.

    Hope you're recovering well @brambling

Hi @Brambling. Hope your recovery is going well and you are feeling a bit more like yourself.

Disappointed to say I have STS this week! The Chinese meal that we had on Saturday definitely had something to do with it! I also feel bloated from eating it so wonder why I did! !🤦

I have to report a 0.5 lb gain.

I've been up and down weightwise during the week.
I do get on the bathroom scales every morning.  It is often suggested one shouldn't do that but I recently read that doing a daily weigh-in may not be so bad because it does illustrate that a person's weight can fluctuate a little all the time and so one shouldn't get too dispirited if one has a gain from one week's or month's reading to the next.
