@Brambling  I have to say STS for this week. I had hoped for a further drop but didn't maintain it. I did go down a little, back up again and then down again but not far enough.

Pre-hols weigh in - the 3lbs that vanished last week have re-appeared :-(

I'm blaming hormones / bloating, plus the cheese and biscuits I devoured after dinner last night. I had to go into the office for meetings yesterday, so an early start, hour drive in, long day talking plus drive home. I was so tired and hungry!

Next week I'm on hols with friends. We're on an active holiday but it's hard to count calories when other people cook for you. Problem is the men dishing up man-sized portions which is way too much for me, they just don't believe all I want is a smaller meal, because I'm smaller than they are! And I don't need half a plate full of super buttery mash 😂 I'll still try and eat it all though...

Will get back on it after hols, but hoping I don't put too much back on. It's so hard to lose it again :-(

On recommendation of Mr Pepper, I made an appointment with the online GP via the private medical, what a difference.  I've had non-stop IBS, headaches and psoriasis out breaks since talking to the NHS dietitian 10 months ago, who really just wanted to talk about what they eat and wanted me to eat bread and pasta. GP said what I was eating before was ok, just needed a bit more protein and what is good for me and what my body likes isn't the same for all, if I make changes and feel better then keep with it.

Started a food diary Thursday morning so I can look at good / bad days, and seeing improvements already, Mr Pepper said I've looked bloody miserable since changing my diet, in the past few days I've slept better, and bathroom habits are very much improved, going to give it another week and see if it continues.

@Pixie_Cosmo and @Brambling if it helps for the water retention / bloating, pineapple for water and a bowl of papaya and cucumber is supposed to 'flush' out.

@Soontobeoap, thank you, bananas don't do it for me either, baked beans is another big IBS no, that's a good point on the cheese, I've been eating cottage cheese again and wonder if this is triggering me.  Not a lover of porridge, will need to see if I can find a healthy flapjack recipe, overnight oats are definitely a no.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
