Thank you all.
Had a lovely walk with a friend yesterday afternoon & pottered in the garden.
NSD#15
Walked just over 5 miles with DH after breakfast, stopped off at the cemetery en route.
Made dinner, using up some veg with pasta & pesto. Had a nap, then spent 2 hours with shears, cutting the long grass & weeds growing between the fence posts, wood & stones pile. Still a quarter to do, buy we can see what's there now, & get it used up. Was quite achy afterwards.
After tea, I had a short drive locally, to see if I'll be ok to drive to town tomorrow, think I will if I take my time. Knitted another gonk foot & attached them both.
Grateful for my garden looking better, one of my favourite photos of the DSs from 11 years ago popping up in my memory feed, good TV seriesUse it up, wear it out

Thank you for all your support again this month turtles, you help me to keep swimming.
Thanks for this month's thread @grandmanerd. Managed to rack up 15 NSDs.
Today I drove to town, thankfully all went well. Got some paperwork dealt with, closed an account at a different bank that had £1.13 still in it. I was always at work the days this bank is open, so pleased I remembered! Visited mum, she was pleased to see me, as hadn't since before my op.
After dinner, I fimally repotted all the house plants, it's only been on my to do list for 9+ months 🤣 sewed beards & labels on 2 gonks, whilst listening to cd#4. Pleased I've ticked some things off.
Knitted a set of gonk arms after tea, read another chapter of my book.
Grateful for you lot, a surprise message from someone who attended a day centre where I worked 23 years ago, asking how me & mum were (he still remembered her name too! - funny story, when I was pregnant with DS1, he wrote at least 6 columns wide on an A4 sheet of lined paper, both sides, a list of boys names, & another page of girls names. One of which was Cruella 😂 I'm pleased it ended up being a boy!), & getting some frogs dealt with

My sister and nephew came today and really helped clean up. We now have two completely full trash cans so we will need to wait until Tuesday to see if we can get anything out again. Have boxes set up in one room for Diane to go through to see what books she want to keep on the new bookshelves. This is going to take awhile - we are talking about 35 boxes after all. May be able to use the living room before the holidays this year. I can keep hoping.
Had 19 no spend days this month. Would have been twenty - but I owed my sister the next payment on the loan she made me to help pay the taxes last year. Only one payment to go.
I have had a problem closing a bank account that isn't even my personal account. I was one of the officers for the British Isles Family History Society of Los Angeles that merged with another group. But when we went to close out the account, it turned out that I was the only one on the signature card that was still living. We transferred the money that was in the account to the new bank account. I have been having trouble closing the old account though. Will realize we mean it soon - especially as there is no money in it!
We are just starting summer - it will be up over 28C next week. And possibly stay that way for the next month or two. Hope you are enjoying your weather. Would love to have some rain. My nephew watered for me (just two planters). We may not get any rain until October or November.7
