As above - should be sent 10 working days after final bill - plus say 3 days BACS transfer type delay to refund via the DD mechanism (it takes 3 days the other way AFAIK the reverse is true).

I believe there is compensation to be added if miss the date.  It was upped to £40 this year

@Rosie1001 Would you be kind enough to do us a favour - on the EDF Energy bill that you posted here where you have (correctly) blacked out the MPAN etc., the Supply number consists of two rows. The top row doesn't give any information about your specific meter point, the first two parts are about meter type and tariff type. I'd expect it might say 02 811 but it might be different as you were on E10, could you please confirm what it was?
When you moved to Octopus, if you were on E7 long enough to get a bill, it should have said 02 811.
Now that you are on Snug, we're expecting it to say something else - which might be 00 900. Even if it isn't can you tell us what it is. As already said, these numbers don't give anything personal away, where you are etc.

I can't remember if you did have the afternoon boost to start with, but I thought wth snug, that you only got the afternoon boost when it gets "colder"?

Although I've not read through the T&Cs to see if there's a definition, for what Octopus define "colder" to be.

And this is just me pondering here...if it's determined to be "colder" in Scotland, do Kent get the same afternoon boost. Or is it postcode driven, or regional?

There;'s another htread with someone with a Kaifa meter who was on Snug Dec to Apr iirc and thinks never got the afternoon - I worry that if afternoon not working - is night.  And was finally kicked  off - I suspect undrr the 30 day rule (2.14.7 iirc).

6 hrs vs 7hrs needs looking at in the sort of detail many here might - but the typical home user might not spot - as long as house warm in morning and hw is hot.

Just look at the effort Rosie1001 had to go to diagnose the times her alcs and tariffs were out of sync - you need to know what to expect and how to get the infor from your meter  / ihd or app / portal - its a lot of effort.

It made it beyond DST in Mar there's references to it now being 4-5 rather than old 3-4 in some posts - maybe even in this thread above - so not sure it is winter only - even if its only offered to be in sales - I will check the Snug smart T&Cs next time I look at them.

I suspect if energy - particularly in summer from solar - there is c17-18GW (5.x GW domestic not all exported for payments) and commercial generation capacity available - is plentiful - the 9p boost will stay.

In the same way agile rates used to dip near zero mid afternoon.  And that before even solar farms entered the curtailment payment gravy train this year.

Interesting - that domestic now going PC 00.

Not according to the Wiki page, it seems unrestricted in that sense.

But we'll have to see if we can find users that have that PC.
This discussion ought to be continued here

@Rosie1001 Thank you very much for that info, we'll have to see what we can discover about the MTC of 96 which has obviously originated from EDF E10. When you moved to Octopus on E7 the code 2 96 should perhaps have changed to 2 811 and there's debate started in another thread as to whether it should have changed for Snug, to 2 900, we are lacking knowledge about this 900 code atm, but hoping discussion about the codes will continue in this thread but continue trying to get your issue resolve here.
I wonder if Octopus failing to update your meter coding has anything to do with your lack of afternoon boost - and you aren't the only one it seems without the afternoon boost!!

Yep; for PC02 supplies, MTC 096 is only valid for SSC 0935, recorded only for NEEB, Rosie's DNO, and E.On. The SSC covers TPRs 00374 and 00375:

That's the E10 schedule Rosie was on with EDF. The combination PC02-MTC0096-LLF2 is unique to NEEB - record no. 20821 of nearly 300,000 records:

The LLF (Line Loss Factor) class is completely impenetrable to me. I can only guess that Rosie's not far from the substation or transformer her electricity comes from.
