At was lifted today at 3pm for a 9am at the dealership panic calls to see if ok to still send and now await a call if done today. 🤞0

Car completed last Thursday. They had it overnight due to the late delivery. Was ready following morning. They confirmed that both passenger and driver airbags were replaced on the DS5 model. I then had to get it to a local specialist who had space to get lower arms cv boot and track rod replaced at over £500. I’d say I’m all done now but I think they messed the tracking up even though it says done. So I will need to resolve asap. But as for the airbag recall. It’s been a terrible several weeks but now resolved 🤞0

My friend has been called this afternoon and said they can fix her car if she brings it in to the garage tomorrow. Is this a red flag. I thought it was a massive no to drive it. Risk £1000 fine. Why are Citroen even suggesting this or has it all been a scam0

The faulty airbags have killed people. Some insurance companies have said their insurance will cover driving to the dealer to get the airbag fixed. Just don't crash into anything on the way.Otherwise, call up your local breakdown company and ask them to send out a truck to carry the car to the dealer. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
