I have 5 NSD's this week 🙂 and I've started Tilly tidying, thanks @Naomim . However the cold has come back with a vengeance 🤒 so off to bed with a hot lemon and honey drink. Looking forward to a chilled weekend, getting on top of the housework/schoolwork and last bits for the christening.

Ooh so happy you've started tillying! It's just like virtually emptying your pockets of change every night.

Well done on the NSD's. Fantastic achievement. 👏

Hope you feel better over the weekend.

Got my £175 from my switch so that is to be paid off my Abound loan 🙂 and i'll have nearly £10 coming in this week from Vinted sales and I cashed out £5 feom surveys this morning, this has took me nearly two weeks 🤣 I am just losing the will with them, but it's free money so on I'll plod.

The cold is now a raging chest infection, hope the antibiotics kick in soon. Little one is still full of it, I've never seen so much snot in my life, bless him.

Well my budget planner has been firmly stowed away under my bed for nearly two weeks now and I haven't had the urge/need to get it out and start rearranging my figures and I feel so much better for it. Surely it can't be good for your mental health to see such high figures most day.

Had to call in sick today, the little ones symptoms have worsened over night so now he's back on antibiotics, hoping to get an hours sleep with before the big ones come home mithering for their tea 🤣.
  • Hey, thanks for sharing, that took guts, and you’re definitely not alone. £52,000 feels overwhelming, but staying on top of payments with a 2027 goal is a solid start. Consolidating might not have worked, but you’re wise to see that now. Lean on this community for support; we’ve all been in that anxious debt shadow. Small steps forward can ease the load and maybe track spending or boost side income? You’ve got this!

Sorry to hear you've all still been poorly. I came down with a cold on Monday morning but feeling better now although still coughing a bit.

I think it's a good idea to leave the budget planner alone too. Either check bi-weekly or monthly.

@Naomim feeling loads better now, at last. Glad you're feeling a bit better too.
Completely agree re the budget planner, feel so much better for it.

Withdrew £5 from the surveys 🥱 £3.50 from Vinted and continuing Tilly tidying daily, not huge amounts but it all adds up.
Spotted another bank switch that I may do this weekend too.
Bought a couple more Christmas presents for DD, one I used my vouchers with and the other only cost me £30 and it was meant to be £50, had £15 on my schuh account and I was also able to use my blue light card. Just need a good hiding place now because she's a nosey one and will go hunting 🙄feeling super organised already, let's see how long this lasts.

Had a good day at work today, busy but it's so nice to be around my colleagues again (some of them) and have a laugh, feeling much more positive recently and the debt although it's huge, it doesn't appear to be getting to me as much at the minute 🙂

I always feel better about the debt when I'm in control of it. I've had plenty of times that I've buried my head in the sand then spiralled.

Good job on the presents 🎁.  I haven't started yet as dd turns 16 in October so I like to get her birthday out of the way first.

I bought one of those debt colouring in books last night, it's been sat in my Amazon basket for months. Feels quite therapeutic colouring the boxes in (this is only one debt unfortunately, I'd love to be that close to the end with them all) and I've just realised how untidy my colouring is 🤣🤣 it looked okay until I took a picture, I blame the poor lighting in the room, due to the little one sleeping 😉
