Another overpayment of £80 paid towards my Abound loan and I've transferred £200 (expenses) to one of my accounts for fingers crossed 🤞 savings, however the money has not landed in my other account and the sort code and account numbers are completely different, I have no idea where it's gone. Spent over an hour on the phone to be told to call back after 24 hours for it to be recalled 😵💫FGS.1

Finally found where I had sent the £200 to and it was a loan I used to have (how bad is it that I cannot remember having this loan, probably because I've had far too many) anyway the money should be on its way back to me.I downloaded the debt pay off planner back in April/May 2025 and since then I've paid off £14319 (half of this is interest which is a kick in the teeth) and my current debt stands at £44200 😭 still a long way to go and I'm feeling it today. Roll on December 27 when I should've finished my last debt payment.5

Thank you, wish it was all debt paid and not interest 😭😭 although this is a lesson being learnt I suppose, never to get in this position again.Rhyddid2026 said:Wow! That's a huge amount paid off, well done!1 -
Still plodding with these debts, signed up to the 1p saving challenge, still Tilly tidying (when I remember) surveys still being done 🥱 and need to get back onto Vinted. Due a payout from my help to save bonus which is going straight into my car pot for my insurance, MOT and service. These have been put onto credit cards for as long as I can remember.Annual leave this week, my plan was for me to get my house in order post Christmas but I've come down with a sickness bug, typical!!Got paid early in December and now it feels like forever until the next payday 😭 wish they'd just pay us at the normal time.4

£720 paid towards my Abound loan, now there's £542 remaining and fingers crossed it shouid be paid off by the end of january, it's an exciting feeling, once this has been paid I can start snowballling properly. The £200 I sent to an old loan has still not been returned, need to chase this.
Received the help to buy bonus and that has gone straight into my car pot, feeling quite accomplished with this pot and dare I say it 'grown up' it's about time actually considering I'm 40 next month 🤨5 -
first loan paid off!!! Took this out in July 2023 (consolidation 😏) for £10,000, ended up being nearly £12,000 with interest. Thought I'd feel more happy having paid it off, now on to the next slog.
