Made redundant but another local company will take over my role

Hi All,

I was informed yesterday that I will be made redundant because of cost saving. But another local company will do my job role both remotely and on site ive not been offered the chance to tupe over?

Do I have a case?

Have you spoken to HR/TUPE lead about this?

If the new company already have someone in a role who can complete your tasks then there is no need for 'the role' to be TUPE'd out as this would be a duplication. This would make sense on why you've been made redundant.
