    Thank you for the replies so far.  Do you think I should dispute payment with bank now? The seller is not responding and it's now 2 weeks with no fridge. Can't afford to have £150 tied up.

    You could ask the bank for a chargeback, but could easily be defended by saying you haven't returned the fridge.

    I'm trying live chat with Temu. Over an hour so far. Just about as bad as eBay.
    First and last order.
    I will never let them keep my money or force me to keep a smashed appliance.
    I suggest everyone spreads the word about this terrible customer service.

    I've used Temu loads and never had any issues. However I would never order a large appliance off there. Same with sites like Aliexpress.

    Will keep everyone updated. Live chat raised a ticket so will see what happens.
    Let's see if they sort this out. I know it's the seller to blame but Temu should have put a process in place for this as would be a common thing to expect when selling large goods online.

    Doesn't look like I am going to get much help from Temu. They gave me generic messages like from a script.
    What would my course of action be if I can't get anywhere? I'm thinking...
    1. Dispute transaction with bank on debit card and tell Temu seller and Temu
    2. Letter before action to seller
    3. Money claim online

    Where do I stand with this? Can't believe this is even happening over a £150 fridge freezer from a huge site like Temu.

    Have you got a link to the item? If the seller is not based in the UK then options 2 and 3 won't apply.
