Those bags are brilliant, I have one as do family members who have dogs and often home/hand rear pedegree lambs.
Revolutionised my life! There's no hair in the machine, and the hair catchers pick up anything that's on people-laundry too. It's nice to feel you can chuck pet washing in any time rather than planning for when you can clean out the machine and run a cleaning cycle.

Wait, what? I need to see these bags! I have a white german shepherd who sheds constantly and I predominantly wear black. Her hair is part of the reason the outside drains clog so often.
Have you found hair catchers that work? The last one I bought just broke into pieces on the second wash.
    This could change my life!!

Yes. I would be interested too in the brand you bought. I have a JRT that sheds a lot and I usually just wash the pet bed in the machine and then do a spin and rinse after.

The flooring was fitted this week which was a relief as that manky carpet was quite threadbare so the new carpet should make a big difference when it gets cold. I have a lot of decluttering and tidying to do this weekend.

I have my 20th class of the year next week. :)

Have you checked out other charities.  I always gave to one, which I would prefer to give to, but sometimes it gets too difficult.  I am no longer prepared to lug stuff a couple of hundred yards although I could now but back then I was waiting for a hip replacement.  Anyway I found another well known charity that had a normal sized shop but also took donations which they sent to other stores as they basically had a warehouse behind.  Stopped me feeling guilty because I was going to land up just binning stuff.

These are the bags/hair catchers I have https://furmagic.co.uk/ (I put the hair catchers in the bag with the pet bedding when I wash it, or in the machine with people laundry).

@badmemory - we have billions of charity shops, but this one takes everything whereas the others are picky, so it's where I'm registered for Gift Aid. I get fed up with having to sort through stuff and have some reject it and take it on to the next - they'll take electricals, old towels to sell as dog towels, and all sorts of random odds and ends. And the ancient and decrepit suitcases I use to transport stuff there.

@greenbee. Do you have a link for the bag for the bag for the pet stuff  by any chance?
I have a very long haired cat. Also roughly how long do the big machines at the petrol station take?  I take if you have to hang about while they do the wash?  Thanks.

I do see your point.  This one with being so much bigger behind the scenes does seem to take anything, although I haven't tried them with digital type stuff so far just electrical.

Furmagic bag bought. Car screen wash refilled (been empty for weeks), pantry doors had their final coat of paint. Kitchen sink unclogged.
Now sitting on my sofa with a snack and a drink trying to decide on a plan of attack for today. Ideally outdoor stuff as its a rare nice day. I think it has to involve washing the sofa cover that I didn't get around to doing in spring.

Sofa cover washed, and I've painted three of my metal gates and the railings out the front. Shortly after moving in the neighbours told me how nice my railings would look if I touched up the paint work 🙄 so because I am petty I didn't bother for 4 years 😂. It's not the best paint job but it looks pretty good. I used the whole tin so I'll need to buy another small one to do some fiddly bits and some gold paint for the bauble bits. Also, I am covered in black paint.
It was so lovely to put music on, headphones on, and paint in the sunshine.

Lounge wiped down and generally tidied.
Heap of heavy winter clothing that had come in from tidying the garage, passed through washing machine and onto the line.
Dead vase of flowers in the dining room emptied and given a good wash.
Cleaned down the outsides of the glass shower panels.
All OATs, am glad they are done 😊👏
