Grated a whole lot of courgette in the food processor and froze it, as well as making a courgette gratin (part eaten, the rest cooling in the hope that it will freeze/defrost/reheat OK). Laundry done. Watering mostly done with washing up water! Just need to water a couple more things and turn off irrigation before my final meeting of the day.
  • Had a quick wipe around the inside of the oven. No point letting it sit there OATing at me until I can do a thorough job and it's got mankier, at least it's been improved
  • I finally took old batteries to the supermarket for recycling. Been meaning to do that for at least a year.
I also painted some of my kitchen because the new microwave makes my 90s kitchen look even worse.

Window cleaner came today and has agreed to do the insides next time (they're filthy from DIY/decorating/cats/dogs/my attempts at cleaning them). Then I need to find out whether he'll do the greenhouse and the solar panels...

I've also discovered that there's a 20kg washing machine outside at the petrol station up the road, so I'm hoping it's free tomorrow morning and I'll go there on the way to do a CS drop-off and stick the dog beds that won't fit in my WM in there. They should dry OK at home (although I may have to take a couple back there for a trip in the. TD to fluff them up!). The rest of the dog/cat bedding has been washed and is in the TD making the most of the solar.

@greenbee - you're not supposed to use the machines for animal blankets etc as it leaves hair etc behind in the machine.  We've got one of those machines at our local SM and couldn't use it a while back as someone had used it to wash a horse blanket.

It really isn't fair on the others to use these machines for animal stuff.  No one wants dog hair, horse hair etc on their clothes.

Strawberry cage has been taken apart and put away. It's been in the way for weeks and took less than 10 minutes.

Rugs from the utility room have been washed and are on the line.

CS wasn't taking donations, which was annoying after emptying and cleaning the car and putting the stuff in. It's all now back in the garage ready for when they want stuff.

Those bags are brilliant, I have one as do family members who have dogs and often home/hand rear pedegree lambs.
