Bought car with 7,200 done service an said so it doesn’t need next service till 20,000 ,
I said ok , the service light came on service due in ???? Miles
I called them an asked for them to book it in an said to them the TPMS IS ON AN KEEPS COMING ON NO MATER WHAT I DO ,
they said our earliest date is mid feb .I said can I take it to another garage they said no it has to be a Kia garage ,
I waitted but not before trying to get it in a diffent Kia garage but they all had longer waiting times Liverpool , Wirral, St. Helens Warrington , said they are all chocker an have no room ,
at they said it needs another service at 35,000
Now at just before 35 ,000 spanner came up I called Kia Southport an asked to get it in for the service again it was 4 months Down the line ,
,I put a complaint into the main dealer they said we allow 2500 over  so has it’s got to 37,000 I took it in to a local garage an they done the service ,
at 42,000 I called Kia an said the engine management light has come on an the RAC  said it needs a new coil pack on cylinder one miss fire so they m booked it in for march  which was 3 months down the line ,
Istopped useing it an waitted ask them to get it picked up they said no it will drive  ,
drove it to their they swap coil pack from 1 to 3  I said it needs its first mot they said o we done the mot when we had the car as an the service ,
said if it comes on again it needs new plugs it came on in June  called Kia to get it in but yes 3 months again ,
(so took it garage to get spark plugs done )
,then billed me just short of 300 for it didn’t give me mot or the book again wasn’t stamped , than I got it serviced local garage at 47.00 than 56 .000 an mot in march ,
the the car cut out no light on got the AA OUT they said  misfire on cylinder 1 so done spark plugs still misfire
couldn’t  get coil pack so they took it the garage
they done coil pack but still misfire ,
called Kia said the misfire on cylinder 1 needs to come in said June this was April25 ,
I called main dealership they said try this an gave me some number all still had a wait .
one on Wirral said they will take it an do it as an when ,
done a compression test cylinder 1 has 10 cylinder 2 has 130  cylinder 3 has 130 they all should have 160/180’ an this is where they said it needs a bottom end but not covered by warranty

So without knowing which car you have & what age it is hard to say if it is still under warranty. Kia are very keen on car being serviced on time. Also no service book is going to make it hard to prove car has been serviced. As Kia have only just introduced a online database of servicing this year. So may not have older services if dealer is no longer a Kia franchise.
Kia do not provide a replacement car for warranty work.

    Limited liability

Under this warranty, Kia are only liable for the repair or replacement of original parts by an authorised Kia dealer that are defective in material or workmanship. Kia are not liable for any costs that may incur getting to a dealer, supplying a replacement car or as a result of being without the car during warranty repairs.

Again TPMS depends on which system you have? If you have the option in the dash to show all 4 tyre pressures, or if you have a reset button, which needs to be held in for a few seconds to reset the wheel sensors.

So 4 services then Depending on when registered.
Assuming a March registration. That would be servicing in March 22, 23, 24, & 25 If later than June only 3 services.
That is no matter on the mileage unless more than 10,000 miles in a 12 month period, then it would be shorter. As it is 10K or 12 months whichever is 1st.

    Who replaced the parts?
How did you not know it had a MOT, as you get paperwork for that & charged as well?

Again, you're missing the point.  I'm pretty certain that gap is the warranty problem.

An early MOT isn't a problem.  They saved you having to go back a month after the service to have the MOT done separately.

Feb 23 5K over limit Warranty void
Sep 23 2K again over limit.

Kia will not pay out on warranty if it is anything service related, given the exceeding of the service limits.
Which is why you got charged for plugs, coil pack.

    Better dig deep then.

I don't see how you can reasonably claim against the finance company when you missed the service interval by 5000 miles.

Yes but mitigating circumstances that the Kia is over worked which is why it went over the mileage  but I know what your saying big deep or the other option was give it back to finances which will than clear what is own on it still which is the advice that Kia that has got it said

I’m not understanding how you can hand it back. The finance company won’t want a worthless asset back. It’ll need fixed. Or if it does go back there will be penalties, surely?
