Halifax have a couple of months to inform us of any changes since they don't kick in until September/October.kuepper said:Poor customer service as i've not had anything from Hx about this, only read about it on MSEThose whose terms end imminently and won't be able to renew will beg to differ.Interestingly, they managed to notify me by SMS about the debit card fee changes on foreign spending.1 -
All good things must come to an end.
I've been earning £30/month for many years with my Halifax rewards accounts.1 -
Yeah, I will have to find another way to pay for my home insurance now 🤣0

It's generous of Halifax to pay the monthly £5 cash rewards early, for those whose rewards were due to continue past October, in some cases up until end of May 26. It must be costing Halifax quite a bit to do this. They clearly want to clear the decks rather than have this hanging on for almost a year.0

I'm not sure why you think Halifax are being generous in doing this. They're not doing it for our benefit. They're doing it for their own benefit so they can, as you say, "clear the decks" earlier, without breaching the terms of the old rewards offer. The amount they're paying out in £5s is the same, they're just paying it out earlier.Hattie627 said:It's generous of Halifax to pay the monthly £5 cash rewards early, for those whose rewards were due to continue past October, in some cases up until end of May 26. I was thinking of them losing out on the return on the money they are paying out earlier than they might have. But, yeah, generous might not be an appropriate adjective.danny13579 said:

Thanks.
I did £5 with Halifax. over 6 accounts between the wife & I that was a nice amount each year for not a lot of work.
I hope Lloyds don't pull their cinema tickets. I get 30 tickets a year which is 15 films & we generally use all of them or at least the vast majority. Been a few years since a ticket didn't get used.0 -
I don't know about the cinema tickets in particular, but I'd be surprised to see Club Lloyds rewards cut altogether. Unlike Halifax Reward (or Halifax anything for that matter) the Club Lloyds products have been pretty extensively marketed over the last few years - right now the push seems to be Premier but that too has the same reward.B0bbyEwing said:Thanks.

This month, they paid me £5 and then clawed it back the day after. They refused to explain why.pfpf said:maybe they'll up the cash reward to £10 per month.
will be sad to see the cash reward go and annoying if they do indeed end it "mid" 12 month term.
If I want to know why, I have to phone them. That's not going to happen, as I have better things to do with my time than sit on hold for an hour.0 -
Just fill in the complaints form if you qualified, easier than callingCCBG said:
