Me too. They definitely hoped people would either:
    1. Totally forget they had applied via the promotion link
    2. Forget the deadline to check and make a manual submission
    3. Be fobbed off by their initial response
MoneySavingExpert and MoneySuperrmarket are obviously making a commission on these account openings and need to take a more proactive role in addressing the issues with these scammers

I wouldn't go as far as to call them scammers. They're a genuine marketing/advertising agency. But there is a problem with these promotions they offer and they aren't correctly tracking many applications, even when you go to extra effort to ensure tracking cookies are enabled and no blockers are being used. When you do challenge them, you're the one who's automatically in the wrong and you have to pester them to get anywhere.

How many others that aren't on here also didn't have their applications correctly tracked and then either forgot, missed the deadline for complaining or accepted being fobbed off by them?

I don't know what kind of commissions MSE/Money Supermarket make from these, but I don't think they care at all.

Anyway, it's good to see that persisting with them works.  ;)

Has anyone received a voucher after having a complaint upheld? I was initially refused and sent an email complaining. I then received an email early last Friday saying they would be in touch within 7 days telling me how to claim my voucher.

I have to say, I received no such communication.

Nothing! I messaged them through the link in the email this morning, as today marks 8 days since they agreed to honour the offer, and like you I should have received it within 7 days.

I'll give them next week to respond and send the gift card. I have made a note in the diary to reopen the complaint on Monday week (28th July) if nothing back.

Very unimpressed, I hope they treat their paying clients a bit better than they treat members of the public!  :/

I got the same: "Your sale seems to have been untracked but we have been able to verify your OLA provided."

Which at least is better than "the eligibility criteria were not strictly met" that others have had.

And now have to wait 14 days (why?!).

They are certainly uninspiring. Even their email format is broken, I get the same incomplete coding (%buttontext% and %teamname%) as above. Any firm that can't be bothered to actually complete the formatting of their emails is very slapdash indeed.

MSE should seriously review any involvement with these jokers.

    My thoughts exactly

did you “14 days” guys already wait the 7 days first?

    This just gets more bizarre.

Why suddenly change the 7 days (which is already too long) to 14 days? What next? A month? 6 months?

They're stalling in the hope that people will give up in frustration.

These are clearly amateurs. Their attitude to customers, the making up of terms on the fly, the constant fobbing off, the badly formatted emails, the complete lack of professionalism.

I'm still giving them until Monday week to respond and to actually have received my gift card otherwise the complaint will be reactivated. I have run out of patience with these clowns.

MSE really need to reconsider what sort of agencies they're partnering with, as it taints their reputation too.
