Santander 123 Lite - conversion to Everyday Account from 21 August 2025?

I checked my account at 10pm last night and it had changed over to Everyday, so on the same day as cashback paid and fee taken ! (Was getting £48 cashback for £24 fees a year, if I swapped to Edge I'd only get £32 cashback for £36 fees)1

Has anyone else had an email from Santander welcoming them to their new Everyday Current Account account?
It suggests they'll be issuing a new debit card?!?How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)1 -
I can't remember whether I had a welcome letter when my account changed 3 weeks ago. It's not in My Documents and if they sent an email, I have deleted it. I definitely have not had a new card - my current one still says "Select" even though I haven't had a Select account for several years now. If they will send a new card, that will be fine by me.
I did have a welcome email for another Everyday account - a new one I applied for recently.0 -
Account changed on 20th, no email or change in card0

I didn't get any correspondence in any form when my Lite was converted to Everyday, though I got an email when I upgraded it to Edge.0

Well, I know it isn’t an airport & we don’t need to announce any departure, but their changes felt to us like they were not for our benefit….so after over 30 years with them, it was a reason to bid them farewell 🤷♂️
A CASS move to First Direct which completed last week, so we will see how the direct debits move over weeks - they look to all be there 🤞
Not 100% sure what to do with the £1k left in the regular saver….I ought to contact them. Not to mention the 3p that appears to be in an ‘Everyday Saver’ account 😂
Hopefully £175 will find its way to us in due course, which will be a nice bonus 🙏
Plan for tomorrow, enjoy today!1 -
When do you get your interest from the regular saver? Iirc Santander pay it at the end of the 12 months. Is it worth keeping it with them until you get your interest? What % is it?
