Santander 123 Lite - conversion to Everyday Account from 21 August 2025?

I have just CASS'd my Santander 123 Lite over to Nationwide - they started the process last week and my bank account closed today (4th).
All the usual direct debits went out in July as normal. I usually get my cashback on the 2nd (even when it lands on a weekend) but didn't get it this month.
I tried "talking" to the help (hmm) -bot Sandi but it was no use, so I am waiting for a human to get back to me.
Has this happened to anyone else?0 -

I'd also meant to ask in my post (but clearly got distracted by something shiny) how others had found the customer services when asking about absent cashback, however no need now because:
- they actually replied pretty quickly once I got past the bot
- I had mis-interpreted (made assumptions about) the specifics for earning cashback - the DDs needed to be live/active on the cashback date, but my switch had already started by then so mine were not. So I miss out on one last £4.50ish... ah well.
Adiós Santander, I have enjoyed my 10 years of cashback3 -
I have just rung Santander to ask if they can swap all my Direct Debits from my 123 Lite to my full fat 123 Select accoount. The answer is No. So I woud have to contact all the companies involved with the new details myself if I want to keep getting cashback.
It seems I just have to accept the transfer to an Everyday account if I don't do the spadework.
I already have an Edge current account for which I pay no fee. It has a £0 balance, no DDs.This is to enable me to have an Edge Saver of course. Would it work to open a new one to transfer to, accepting that I have to pay the monthly fee?
Amy other possibilities? I am not eligible for the cashback perks on a Nationwide account as I had one previously.0 -
CASS your 123 lite to another bank then CASS that one to your other Santander 123 account?2

That's my switch to nationwide gone through and qualified for the £200 incentive. Its not far off 2 years worth of cash back with 123 lite RIP.2

I have started to manually inform companies that my DD should be taken from a different account, my 123 full fat. I just need to time them right ( and keep a careful note of what I have / haven't done! )0
