Seems to me that the WS bundle deadline is first in line, for both parties, so get that submitted next month

DCB Legal will discontinue rather than wait 6 months. Their system isn't set up for this.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The bundle is your witness statement, evidence plus the items that @Coupon-mad recommends in the NEWBIE sticky second post «HERE»

At witness statement stage (usually NOT LATER THAN 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR HEARING!)

    exhibits a) to i).

You have to write your own, but its worth looking at previous cases on here for inspiration

    Hi,

Was a witness statement made for the defence or do i need to create a new one?
Also is there a link to an example?

Clearly you have not read the NEWBIE sticky, else you would know the difference between the defence and the witness statement.

Your defence is a series of technical/legal arguments written in the third person (and you have already submitted that), however: -

Your witness statement is "in support of your defence as already filed" and therefore should be ............... in support of and back up whatever you put in your defence. It is a narrative of what happened on the day and subsequently, written in the first person in your own words. It happened to you so no one on here can write it for you. Reduce the impact of anything negative and emphasise the impact of anything positive. It is also your chance to attach any evidence that you wrote about in your defence. Read other witness statements to see what those posters wrote - particularly successful ones.

    Hi Le_Kirk,

I've read the Newbie sticker but sill confused on how to write the WS. I've tried searching for an example but can't come across a suitable one to use.

I haven't received their WS statement yet either.

    Could someone help me please?

You and the claimant's have the same deadline. One of the latest WSs for style and format (content must suit your particular circumstances) is by user @JackR1 and last year we used @aza123 which includes Chan & Akande, but only use that if your POC was vague and you put it in your defence. Go to the NEWBIE sticky, second post and scroll down to here: -

At witness statement stage (usually NOT LATER THAN 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR HEARING!) don't forget to file the evidence you will rely upon. Can include:

and include that list of items suggested by @Coupon-mad a) to i)
