It shouldn't do, but really everything should come from the defendant,  their email,  their government gateway,  their name,  address,  phone number etc. ( you are a stranger to the proceedings  )

You can assist the defendant,  same as us, but legally its her problem,  you and we are assistants and advisers

    Good.

But that's dated January so surely you have drafted your WS and evidence by now, as per the deadline you have (had?) on page 2 of that Order.

The defendant ( not you. ) must draft a Witness Statement plus an Exhibits bundle and submit it to the court and also to the lawyers by the deadline on the court order

Study the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

Ps, the defendant submitted a defence, not an appeal

    Hi Gr1pr,

So was given a ccj as they didn’t process the documents. Appealed and then got this letter.
Does this now mean the ccj has been retracted and going back as a defence in court?
Also is there mediation for this too?

Seems to me that its past mediation, gone to the nominated civil court, which normally comes after mediation, so is now at the WS stage, check the 3 dates and post them all below

1 hearing fee deadline date ?

2 WS bundle deadline date ?

3 court hearing pencilled in date ?

The MCOL claim history should explain the previous stages

    2 WS bundle deadline date - 22nd April 2026

3 court hearing pencilled in date - 8th October 2026
