supply and demand is also a two way process.
anyone who treats customers like that wont be trading a few yrs down the road.
    probably an ex woolworths assistant?:)

Looks like your theory will be wrong. Just because someone chooses not to do custom with someone doesn't mean their days are numbered!

Many people like to believe this but it's seldom true.
  • I have been looking for some new bras after my oh commented on my greying washed out bras which I currently wear are not exactly sexy.

I normally buy from m&s but thought I would try some on ebay, due to my enormous cleavage, my bras cost a bomb.

So My first question to this particular shop was how do they fit. As a loyal m&s fan (well for bras anyway) I was unsure they fit. I was told she had had no complaints, but that she runs a seven day returns policy. Fair enough.

I had a look around the site, thinking I would order four or five and save on postage. Only to find the same bra a pound cheaper singularly (I was looking at a set of two) and three to four pounds cheaper as a set in other sizes.

I then sent the killer question and asked why? If I went into a shop they would not be priced differently according to size so why on ebay. this was my reply:0

    Supply and demand!!!!!!!!
Easily resolved, welcome to my blocked buyers list.
    Kind regards,

Amazing. I am rather hurt as I was genuinely interested in the items. I currently have 100% feedback and was not messing around.

Not worth bothering with Sellers like that.

    Try https://www.brastop.com

I sell a lot on eBay too. Got so many silly questions but I've never blocked anyone from asking the questions. I only blocked the one who doesn't pay. That was a real waste of time.
  • It is amazing, though, how many Sellers don't respond to questions.

Now I know that the ebay emailing system can be a pain but even given that some Sellers just don't bother.

Stupid buyers are really making a mockery of ebay these days. I seldom bother trying to sell anymore as it is just too annoying to deal with some people.

Why do buyers ask a question when the answer is clearly on the description. I.e. item marked new in title, new in description, then you get some mumpty asking "is it new?".

Why do buyers ask if I accept cheques, when the description and payment options clearly say "paypal only"?

Why do so many buyers wait until just a few minutes before the auction closes to ask a question? Do they really think that the seller is eagerly sat by the PC just waiting to answer - don't they realise that sellers have other lives too?

I honestly think some people are too stupid to be let out!

If you want to sell on Ebay you should be prepared to HELP your prospective buyers, not ridicule them!
