there was no need for the seller to be so rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldnt buy from them in principal now !! just cos they are a power seller doesnt give them the right to be so damn rude!!
I would def name and shame them!!!0 -
To be fair we do not know how the questions were worded.
IMO the first question about fit is a bit like my son is 4 years old will your slippers fit him. The seller probably thought here we go pain in the bum buyer. Then the second question querying prices and they thought 'don't need the hassle'.0 -
If I was the OP (and feeling mischevious) though i might be tempted to buy with another account and leave appropriate feedback!!0
-
Not very fair the seller hasn't done anything awful - they received some pretty useless questions and blocked the bidder. The first question was a waste of time 'how do they fit' what did the buyer expect 'my bras fit awful'!! Then they sent another message moaning about prices. I can see why the seller did it, they obviously have enough trade not to want awkward buyers.0

Although I understand the OP feeling a bit hurt, the seller was rude and she should just move on and find her items elsewhere.
I was once astonished to be asked "why are you selling 2 x XXX for £1.50 when I can buy them for 70p each in a shop. Can you not offer free postage ,then i will buy?"
I didn't even bother replying as offering free postage (£1.38) would have left me paying fees for no return!
Yes I did add him to my BBL!:o
PS the items sold!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
customer service is very important!!!! it may seem a stupid question to you but it wasnt for the prospective buyer!!!! being courteus costs nothing and he has now lost a customer!!! he doesnt seem to care about that, which raises all sorts of other questions
if a seller cannot answer questions politely i wouldnt buy!!!!!!!!!!
he could have measured them for her, he shold know his stock and be ble to answer questions about it.
hate bad customer service, esp on ebay!!!0 -

A "how do they fit?" question isn't as silly as it may seem, if you look at a size 8 item in Monsoon, Next and M&S for example, Monsoon cuts are much bigger in comparison to either of the other two, Next size 8's can be tighter fitting around the hips etc....so the answer could have been, they are a small fit, a normal fit or a large fit....
But to block the potential buyer so rudely I wouldn't purchase from them anyway although having said that I do like Hintza's suggestion.0 -
Unless the seller also had the same bust size as the OP, then it's unlikely that they would have been able to answer the question properly. The seller could have said "It fits badly as I am a 32B, so it hangs off me. Don't buy it."
Realistically, what answers were expected from the seller? I get loads of questions on DVD's asking if the film is good. I have a stock answer that I give to most, although sometimes sarcasm does get the better part of me.
"The film is awesome, gripped me from start to finish and had a well written story with excellent cinematography. In fact, I shouldn't be selling this it's such a good film."
"It's utter pony - thats why I'm selling it"
"I don't know, It's still sealed therefore I've never watched it"
"The VHS version is much better"
There are 300million registered eBay users - if one seems a bit awkward, I am happy to block them and take my chances on the other 299,999,999 users.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Louise, I too think you perhaps made a mistake asking about the pricing.
Their pricing policy is their business. They are ebay traders, not a high street store.
You can also look at their pricing the other way round.
Why complain that one set of two bras is more than two singles when you could take the view that, “Wow, they have made a mistake with the single bra price and I can save money by buying two singles rather than one set of two?”
I would have worked out what I wanted, calculated the best way of buying that from their listings and then either put in a bid or possibly sent an email along these lines.
“Hi, I would like to buy X, Y and Z from you. Will you accept a total of £XXX for this including postage?”
Finally, although they have implied that you are barred from bidding, did they actually do it? If you still want to buy, you could try bidding and see what happens.
Or you could send a polite and slightly grovelling email saying that you are sorry your question may have been misunderstood or badly worded and that you are keen to buy under the 7 day guarantee. Tell then that you do have 100% feedback and are not messing round and are a serious buyer.
Even if you feel that you have done nothing wrong, a smile and an apology often works wonders.
Good luck.

Avoriaz, you make good sense.
You might be right and perhaps the seller was just a grumpy one like me who had had one too many questions considered 'inpertinent' that day!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
