I finished the hat I was knitting. My mum suggested I sold the items I made when she found out how expensive wool is. I said no as I wouldn’t even recoup the cost of the wool but she said it would offset the cost and I think maybe she’s right. I might stick the hat and Mr Unsuitable’s (never worn!) socks on Facebook marketplace. It would also motivate me to knit and provide good practice. If I can sell the hat and the socks that would be £20. I’ve found from selling surplus wool that the only way to get stuff to reliably go is to price it at what you consider absurdly cheap.

I was a PA for many years but my view is a chaotic type of person probably would not be the best fit for the jobs I did. Strong organisational skills, good communication and ability to deal with stress and juggle lots of balls in the air was my experience. Are you a receptionist now?
Great news on the money coming back into your account. Is it worth putting some in savings so you aren't tempted to spend?

Just in Sta£ucks doing my essay. I’ve written 432 words. I am mentally prepared to be here until 10am.
I need to juggle my debt figures as I put some work shoes on my credit card. I won’t be able to put anything else in soon as it’s close to the limit.Saw the family on Monday. Baby had a good cry but soothed ok. I got my birthday cards. My sister gave me a Lovecrafts voucher so I will have a good time buying some knitting needle. My niece said my present is ordered to come on my birthday.
I will actually be in France on my actual birthday. This time tomorrow I’ll be on my way to the station.

I am in France. Airbnb is lovely. We had shenanigans getting in but it’s all sorted now. Lovely dinner in an “estimmat” which is a traditional kind of restaurant. I had snails followed by a traditional kind of terrine of white meats in aspic with some delicious chips. Then a coffee.
It’s my birthday tomorrow. Then home on Sunday. I’ve already spoken quite a bit of French which is nice.

Good week this week after my holiday. I’m still feeling chilled and I’m working at a quiet site so it’s nice. Unfortunately my mum had a cough/ cold while we were away and now I’m coming down with it. Hopefully I’ll be well enough for work tomorrow but I’m not sure.
I did some good planning about how to achieve my goals today. I used some AI to make a plan to get to where I want to be in eight years time. It feels achievable which will hopefully keep me motivated to save and work towards my goals.
Did my chores and tidied this evening then knit and watched Netflix for a couple of hours. Off to bed in a minute.

Really suffering with this cold now. I’ve got a very quiet weekend planned. I’m going to the post office tomorrow morning and studying on Sunday but apart from that it’s podcasts and rest for me.
I’m returning an order I bought online so that’s some money back in. I shouldn’t be spending too much until I get paid. I was going to go and meet my friend next weekend but I’m not sure that’s going to happen. I’m going to a wool show but the train and my entry are paid for and I’m just going to buy one thing, which will be about £20-30. I’m leaving my wallet at home most weekdays and managing to buy less online. Overall things are quite positive.
I had a halloumi kebab for dinner and just had some oven potato shapes for a snack.EF 25
