Happy new kitchen @grandmanerd. Having this work finished will spur you on to get everything moved into its proper place. Make sure you rest in between though!
Good luck with your plant @f0xh0les.

Usual routine done this morning. Work went REALLY well, so proud of my little chap first thing 😊 Needed to use lots of patience this afternoon, do was pleased I'd got a massage booked after work. Really warm before tea, so sat outside & read 2 chapters of my book.
Family film night, rewatched a film from many years ago. My brother phoned in the middle of it, Sonu missed half an hour of it. Ate half my bodyweight in M@ltesers... Oh well, they're full of air 😂
Grateful for my morning pupil, my massage, family nightUse it up, wear it out

Large bags of recycling out, many small bags of rubbish (I'm going to add the pizza box lids and a few cobbles to squash it down). Sorted an agreement over the water bill at grandma's house, sent off the electoral register letter for grandma's, more paper rubbish chopped down to size, Note card to my cousin written (2 items posted this afternoon), pills put in order.
Grateful for the couch, books and series (one drama plus Hotel Inspector and Gogglebox)7 -
Some bits cleaned and tidied. Mostly I moped. Which just annoyed me.
But, Dahl is cooking, pizza dough is rising, pizza sauce is made, volunteering was done, I have not fallen off the diet wagon.
Found a corner of the pantry I can send to the charity shop. Lots of serving bits and bobs and tins I am never going to use. They can go find another home to be loved in. Also found another few bits to send to the recycling centre. Will take a trip up there tomorrow and reclaim a bit of space.
Annoyingly DH has had 5 parcels delivered since he left yesterday morning .
This is why my house is so cluttered and I can't keep it tidy.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Not the best day, glad it's Friday tomorrow! So much happening here I want the world to stop. A dear friend has cancer. Another friend had a stroke. My mum is waiting for shoulder surgery. I have a DVLA ‘fitness to drive’ test next week.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Lots of boxes and other containers have been moved to the kitchen. Lost count because some were too heavy and had to be part decanted. Tins packed onto shelves in order (mainly tomatoes and various beans f0xh0les). Some other things have been taken out and put on shelves go that they can be seen and put with other similar items when they turn up. At least one large box and 3 small to be moved (one is currently still inaccessible) still need to be moved. There are also items for washing up, recycling items which must be rinsed first, things that have been or need to be returned to the fridge and lots of detritus which needs to be picked over to extract valuable items.
I haven't left the house (no trip to the Community Shop) but the skip should have been removed (too tired to go and check). Still lots of oddments to eat and hoping I can find time to cook properly. The pills are starting to take effect and I'm feeling brighter and obviously getting more done.
Grateful for food, moving things back to the kitchen, spells of rest and relaxation.9 -
So sorry to hear of the things you're dealing with @beanielou. Here to support you x
Well done on the progress with setting up your kitchen @grandmanerd.

A better day here, thankfully, though still clashed with DS2 first thing.
Received good feedback on the work I do. My morning pupil is in the finals to go to Edinburgh to tell a joke. His speech has really come on since I started working with him, so I feel quite proud! This is the joke he's going to tell:
Knock knock
Who's there?
NunyaNunya who?
Nunya business! 🤣
Went for a walk after tea, then started on another gonk & watched more episodes of my favourite series - I've watched all the repeats & now onto new episodes 😊 Finished the last few maltesers too 😋
Grateful for a beautiful day, doing over 12,000 steps, my TV prog, a better dayUse it up, wear it out

Hugs, beanie. That is a huge amount to be dealing with. The turtle chaise longue is there if you want it, complete with popcorn, fluffy blankets and the TV remote.
