Currently walking to work - exercise and saving on petrol is a win-win.  Thought I'd do a quick post to try and get myself back into the habit of posting more regularly.

Yesterday would have been a NSD but decided to get breakfast from the bakery near work as other staff were getting.  Not something we do often so a nice wee treat.  £2.35 spent on a bacon roll.

Today will also be a spend day as really need to do a proper food shop.

I’d say that’s a £2.35 investment in team building for a good work day.  Treats are ok when they stay as treats

Right I'm back and really do need to make an effort to post more regularly to keep myself on track - this month has gone a bit awry!  Ended up with a balance on my credit card at the end of the month - just a small amount and paid off now but was from general overspending which is a really bad habit to get into.

Got paid on Wednesday so £200 to roof savings (plus £35 that OH gave me), £100 to the emergency fund and £100 to car savings (replacing the money I had to pay out for a new tyre).  Rounded the mortgage payment up to £700 so a wee overpayment of £12.99.

Made a £50 overpayment today to the mortgage and there's £1.01 in the mortgage overpayments account to start saving towards the next £50 overpayment.

Spends for today were £11.19 on a wee food shop (yoghurt, fruit and salad bits) plus £4 on toiletries.

£1.10 added to mortgage overpayment account

    Thanks dfw321

Was hoping for a NSD yesterday but there was a collection for a colleague at work who's leaving so put £20 into that.

Can't think of anything we would possibly need today so it should be a NSD.
