There will be a sofa of just the right size and that is to your taste out there, though it may take a while to find it it will be worth the wait :-)
May be worth keeping an eye on local FB/freecycle sites.

Thanks Boodedoo  we have lots of rhubarb at the allotment so I forsee lots of crumble in my future

Nothing much to report from the last few days but today I made my first mortgage overpayment :smiley::smiley:  Unfortunately it doesn't even cover the interest added on so far but still exciting!

I got £1000 cashback from the mortgage company so put £500 into savings, £150 each to me and OH for new phones (both sorely needed) and £200 mortgage overpayment.

Only spend for today was £3 on a coffee out with a friend, beautiful day here so we went a walk round one of the local parks.

At training today and spent £4 on a meal deal at lunch as totally forgot to take my lunch from the fridge :disappointed: then £29.98 spent on am@zon for a bathroom mirror and bins for the bedroom and living room.  Went out for tea at night with a friend but she paid - I'll get the next one.

    Thanks Boodedoo

Spends for today were £5.21 on bin bags and fruit plus £16 on a wee bedside table.  My lovely work colleagues had given us a £50 n*xt voucher so we had picked out a lamp for the bedside table and a clock for above the fireplace but then annoyingly the website wouldn't accept the voucher - will try again tomorrow.

Very quick post before bed.  Tried the voucher again today which worked so ordered the lamp and the clock.

Ordered a new (to me) phone today from b*ckmarket (£165) so it will arrive in the next few days.

Also did a bigger food shop today - £38.97 split between a*di and a*da.  Had a 60p voucher off for a*da so used that and have transferred 60p over to the mortgage overpayments account.
