    Mini still flashing for eternity even with some power cycles, but I dont see the point in raising it until the account is fully working in smart mode.  It has took hold of the new wifi, and does have an IP address as well.  So wifi works, just stuck.
    Should go solid green when you have wifi but no connection to meter.
    Meanwhile, I've still not had any data come through so not looking good for me to be on Agile over the BH weekend. Some cheap slots tomorrow too.

    Found some posts on reddit reporting they fixed same issue by getting Octopus to unpair it, I requested on twitter and they did it quickly, this time it went through an actual full setup, I seen all the lights as they told me on twitter and its now working, in the app as well.
    It was difficult to scan the QR code, as when closer to phone it was out of focus.  I just about it with camera light on at distance.
    I am expecting to wait at least a week for my smart meter data to appear on Octopus, and wouldnt be surprised if 2 weeks so already accepted be on SVR for a week or two.

    @masonic What's the average cost per day switching away?

    I'm not sure I understand the question. I'm managing to keep usage down to 2-3 kWh per day at the moment. As I am currently on an interim Flexible Octopus E7 tariff with standing charge of 47.7p and unit rates of 32.8p/14.6p, my daily cost has averaged 95p per day over the past 3 days inc. standing charge. That would have come to 80p per day if I stayed on TE Lifestyle, so I am losing 15p per day. But I am keeping my usage down until I can get onto Agile where I can benefit from some cheaper rates and will be less conservative with my usage. I expect to be losing about 20p per day when all is done and dusted. I should be able to sustain that until late October, where I hope I will have an option to switch back with TE having weathered the storm and still offering bonkers pricing.

    @masonic

    You probably know Agile currently 54.85 p/day, only tariff not to reflect mostly lower transmission costs/SC.

    8 for me a day, (two big freezers put my costs up) it's about 44p a day more expensive  if I moved back to Octopus, have decided to stick with TE.

    Yes, gritting my teeth and putting up with that. Average unit rate just about compensates for it for me, and I gain whenever there is a price plunge. But I wish they'd bring out a version aligned with the others.
    Though now I am unexpectedly on E7, I should probably weigh up the current 12 month fix as it looks like my off-peak period lasts until 08:30, which I can make pretty good use of.

    As a bit of an aside, I've had very similar issues switching from Octopus to EOn with the quote identifying me as a single rate user but being put on E7 when I switched. All being progressively sorted. Makes me wonder if there's some feature or issue surrounding single or multiple rate meters that all suppliers are susceptible too. Or maybe Octopus is the common link and they do something quirky with the meters? Or just coincidence?

    I read about the Agile SC after I submitted the migration.  It is annoying.  But if TE stabilises there is always a chance I will end up back on there later this year.  Also an eye on the tariff that john mentioned for Eon.
    I am officially moved now, the delay for me seems a lot less than masonic had.
    Interesting can see live usage from the mini on the website now, not just the app.

    It turns out their 12 month E7 fix looks pretty favourable for me compared to Agile over the recent past. I have switched to it and perhaps I will stay in the short term. I wonder if I can persuade them to backdate it to my original start date? No harm in asking I suppose.
