Wide awake at 5am and for some reason I feel sleepy now. Off to to DSs for lunch, picking parents up on the way.
Have decluttered some paperwork and had a general tidy around.
The flowers are lovely Narco.

Afternoon all. Hope your meal went ok Round.
Happy Easter.
Family have just gone home. Before they arrived I walked Poppet, did dailies, swept downstairs and cleaned the outside of the car.
About to take Poppet for another walk.

I hope everyone's Easter is going well.WMx1 for the superking bedding which is already pretty much dry.Lots of things done with various veggies in the fridge which should stand me in good stead for a few days.Thing-babies now have their own labelled box in the cupboard under the front steps so they're no longer in the actual Appliance Instruction files. I'm certain there are already a lot of Thing-babies down there, but scattered all through the various shelves. It needs a good sort out.I've been mulling over where to store some precious things and I realised the other day that I'd done such a good job of clearing out excess gibble in January that I do, actually, have a nearly empty drawer. Why does it take me so long to put 2 and 2 together sometimes?I figured out why I've been getting so tired by the late afternoon despite sitting at my desk for several hours a day and the penny dropped today. I've been advised to cut my caffeine consumption so I have, by half. I've only drunk decaffinated coffee for decades but the amount of caffeine in decaff is apparently quite significant. I had no idea.Fastest ever meal planning for the week done over breakfast, with three of the five weekday evenings already booked for social things, and one evening will be today's roast lamb leftovers.Kitchen compost bin and recyclying emptied, main bin will be out tomorrow night.Better is good enough.5

Three pudding dishes left to WUDUPA. That's a job for tomorrow.
Thank you YL and Jazee. 😊
Military precision worked. Everything was ready at the same time. Cauli and broccoli were a bit overcooked but everything else was fine. Clean plates all round and no left overs. I've promised them roast beef and Yorkshire puddings next time. 😋
Read a book time now.

HB I was told by a hospital consultant that it's pointless drinking decaff coffee because it has so much caffeine in it! I was also told to cut down so I limit myself to 1 or 2 proper coffees each day. After that I drink herbal or Roobios tea.
Today was a disaster, I started feeling a bit off which quickly developed into a migraine at DSs and I didn't have any medication with me. I tried to sleep it off in their spare room while everyone else had lunch then had a horrible car journey home. I am now tucked up in my own bed.
See you all on the new thread, hopefully feeling a bit more lively!6 -

been a busy day, cooked Sunday lunch for some of the family. served at 3:30, bit of a squabble with sis who seemed unhappy that mum has had no visitors this weekend but failed to mention her family were all busy celebrating a birthday and would be unavailable. i’m not psychic…and I was there Friday. Then she had the temerity to mention my estimated journey time was longer than what she gets if she google maps it and asked me what route I went. That question went unanswered. I didpoint out that my journey is longer if i’m taking stepdad as i have to pick him up then I left it.
Next time i make crumble i shall multiply the recipe and freeze some, especially as it stays loose in the freezer and can be poured onto fruit the n cooked.
