Stopping for a quick coffee…
downstairs dusted and vacuumed
downstairs toilet, used only by DH and workmen due to its embarrassing decor, cleaned, including wiping over the floor. Shudder.Parcels turned up in a flurry, I could now easily be distracted by the package of wool that arrived…
Car cleaning after coffee break, that will make it rain for sure.7 -
Baking done, dailies and dog walk done. First of two wash loads on line.Spend less now, work less later.7

WUDUPA ✅
Two loads of washing swished and pegged out.
Cans of pop unboxed and put in the fridge, cardboard recycled.
I'm going to read a book for an hour, then nip round to see Pops with his chocs.

Wren trundled, two salads made for tonight, DW run and unloaded, washing up cleared.Wild garlic pesto is strong but well worth making. All I know about Wonky Veg is they now deliver nationally for £3 so I thought I'd give it a try and just wondered if anyone else had tried it, so thanks for your response Fayolle. I might emigrate to getting groceries delivered because I reckon I'd find it cheaper than hunting for what's on the list and spotting stuff on the shelves on the way that makes me think, 'Oooh', with the resultant *wince* at the checkout. Living in the middle of a city with a Co-op about 100 yards away and Mr L, Mr A and Mr M all within a very short car journey away I'm spoilt for choice - and it shows on my bank balance.I keep all the instructions and useful notes about household gibble and appliances in lever arch files and I have a habit of putting stuff in (eventually) but never taking anything out. It's taken me four days to go through the four files, take out the instructions for things that I've taken to the tip etc, consolidate them into three files and re-index them. What I can't understand is why I found it tiring - I was sitting down most of the time but I've been shattered at the end of every day and I am now, too.
Better is good enough.7 -
Had two hours with Pops and dropped off his chocs.
All washing dry, brought in and FU. Left the pile sat on the sofa in the sun to warm up a little, before I put it away.

A very flying day. Did 2hrs cleaning the church as it is the first time we've used it since November and we're back in it from tomorrow till November. Luckily there were a few other volunteers so we flew, put up flowers then had coffee with my biscuits.
After an hour or so in the garden, Mr N and I flew round the kitchen, lounge/diner and hallway as we have a friend round tomorrow.
Next is a quick drum practice then dinner, probably watching JC Superstar musical.
Happy Easter to all.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -

I'm up, made my bed, turned over the calendars, taken my meds, eaten breakfast, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with two lives lost, and I'm supping my second brew.
Lunch timetable has been drawn up like a military manoeuvre.
I've just watched a blackbird bathe in the birdbath. Significance? That's the first time I've seen it used as a bath and not as a drinker. I do love my birds ❤

Splosh bleach down the loo
