    @redofromstart - a cushion can never be frivolous 😍

    for the final 3 days of the month I am helping (supervising MrBC) with a very overdue garden bench task.  When we re-did the garden last summer we kept a wooden garden bench and talked ambitiously of renovating and painting it.  So today it has been sanded, first coat of paint is due tomorrow and final coat on Wednesday.  I have planted up 4 tubs to go alongside it.

    DH made enquiries about getting a garden gate and tomorrow we’re going to discuss price etc with his old employer where we get a good discount normally. The vision we wish to block has become worse over the weekend with the addition of a fairy watering can and poisonous bright blue slug pellets scattered around the flowers on the path. It makes me feel my humane efforts at keeping the slimies at bay with wool pellets and copper tape are futile now.

    Everything is ludicrously busy but as its the last day of April I am having a last push and I WILL compare ISA rates and sort finances so everything is where it should be today.
    Anyone else got a final April OAT to push for today?

    I have to flea and worm the cats. I think that's quite enough for one day...

    I also have some yellow rattle that needs planting, so I'll try to get that done too. And two baby magnolias that need potting on, but they will probably have to wait.

    Thanks @PennysIntoPounds for starting this new thread.

    I think my first task for April will be writing a new OATs list.
    LOL! This made me laugh.  Nothing like writing a list as a displacement activity!

    I have to de-flea my cat and dog today too. My vet said she thought Frontline didn't work anymore, but I haven't noticed that.

    I also want to jet wash the decking as I keep leaving it too long between each time I do it and then it takes forever. The weather is lovely today so I don't have any excuse not to get on with it today. :)

    The dog is no problem @Wednesday2000. He thinks flea and worm pills are treats.

    One cat is done and is FURIOUS that she fell for it twice (did the pill first, then caught her after she had her lunch to put the flea stuff on). If the other one is warned, I probably won't see her for days.
