I usually do the cat flea treatment on 1st of the month but I'll sneak it in today, in case the cat has checked the calendar and will be on his guard tomorrow.Garden bench is not finished. Still 1 more coat of paint to do. I'm not viewing it as a fail but as a partial win.
well done to us all! PIP's Progressing People.2 -
I did it - I got all three cats with the flea treatment. Feel like I need a nap now to recover. The youngest one was the hardest to catch. I do think they know how to read the calendar.5

Oh yes please can we have a May challenge for OATS and anything else that needs to be done?
So many niggling little tasks here but too many things getting in their way. It now seems DH may have something akin to mumps following our colds. I’m sure he’ll be fine but he’s such a worrier. I’ve not had mumps (nor the jab as it wasn’t invented back in the day) so I’ll probably catch them just like I got chickenpox from his shingles outbreak a couple of years ago! Covid has a lot to answer for in terms and of compromised immunity I fear.
Tomorrow is a big OAT morning - hair colour and trim. I really do not enjoy having my hair done so limit it to every 12 weeks (or months as has been known!).
Well done everyone during April - it’s been fun following you all.

Both cats done (they hate me), two out of three door fly screens up, one light-filtering blind done. I'll try to do the ones in my bedroom before bedtime.2

Aw thanks @redofromstart, amazing work from you and much deserved pizza!
Only one coat left to do is a major April win @Blackcats
Hope it's not mumps @Sallyforth! If he's well enough to fret it's hopefully not, I had it as an adult and was not well enough to complain much! Might be worth talking to your gp about risks and benefits of a jab if it's available
More than happy to set up a thread for us for May if people find it helpful.
Thank you for joining in everyone, and whether you did loads of things or tackled one OAT, that is an excellent achievement that would not otherwise have been done, or at least not done without taking up much more of your time/nerves/space.
🥇 Here is your medal for bothering to attend to something when busy or tired or annoyed or bored.
Pick it up, put in on, feel proud. You look marvellous in it, it suits you darling9 -
Slipping in one last OAT before the end of the day and month - I just renewed my travel insurance after starting and stopping at least twice in recent weeks. I told Admiral I didn't want to renew with them and they offered me 15% off, so it was cheaper than the other quotes and I didn't have to redo any forms - winning!

I managed 2 OATs today:
1) have my hair cut, I detest going to the hairdresser's these days, it took DD about 5 minutes to cut about 6 inches off and it looks and feels so much better.
2) rang the dentist to confirm the date of our autumn check up.
I should off had my hair trimmed in November to keep it tidy and by the end of January it was in desperate need of a cut and I ended up putting it up constantly, I've enjoyed wearing it down most of today.
Confirming our dentist appointment has been on my list all month, I was determined to not let it roll over.
Looking forward to continuing to concur OATs in May and cheer everyone on.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
