  • We have a J&S warm air system. It is an old one but works fine. we have had a quote to upgrade the boiler to the new cat A system, and replace all vents and dials ect, for £2000. Our only issue, and the one reason we are thinking off going to a wet system is that there is no vents in 2 of the bedrooms, the bathroom, downstairs toilet. This makes these rooms very cold. Is there any way to sort this, or is radiators the only way round?
  • Hi Davsas, Welcome to the Forum. The ducting could always be extended into the bedrooms from the downstairs ducting. If you have a water circulator fitted in your warm air unit, you could run a couple of small radiators from that circulator into the bathroom and downstairs. I reakon it would be a good idea to to contact a local warm air qualified engineer to give you a quote with the changes (ducting and radiators). Hope this helps.
  • Hi Guys,

Could anyone tell me please why air heater is not holding the pivot flame? When I try to release the pivot button the flame goes off, so heater is not working at all.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

    Cheers,
    AAA
