Hey there, I have received 2 letters from Parking Eye for payment of £100 on a private casino car park. Straight after this I got a claim form in the post from the courts. I feel this is was an unfair attempt from PE whereby they didnt even send a pre action letter signed by a solicitor. What could be a valid defence?…

In the meanwhile however PE has sent me a letter to settle at £165 even though in their response they were stating how they would never accept any offer at this stage, strange.
