Just had my email about Flux and I quote
Electricity unit rates are mostly rising, although not as much as gas. Octopus Flux unit rates are changing too: Your 4pm–7pm peak export rate is increasing, alongside your import rates. Night export is staying put, while day export will decrease slightly — with sunnier days ahead, make sure you’re exporting as much as possible during the 4pm–7pm daily peak to make the most of Flux.
Note their bold 4-7 and then note my bold italic slightly , I don’t call ~26% slightly.

I shall do their survey in the remote chance of winning £512

It's a change of 3p/kWh, though, isn't it? Whether that's "slightly" or not is a matter of opinion.

Well if your gas goes up from 6p to 7.5 or leccy from 24p to 30p would you in your opinion say that was a slight rise?

I'm surprised there's no mention of the underlying standing charge here. Which Octopus seem to have dropped considerably. At least at present, the Eon Nextdrive tariff mentioned earlier has a 64p standing charge, vs Octopus flux going to 44p. (Maybe all standing charges are due to decline?)

If it really is a 20p/day difference, that's not negligible. I've got a pretty 'simple' system (ie can't easily get onto Intelligent/Agile), West facing panels, and relatively low electricity usage. For someone like me, as long as I manage things sensibly these Flux changes look pretty good (or at least, not at all terrible).

My Nextdrive standing charge is 41.57p a day (inc VAT). I believe it varies by region though.

SC reducing most regions due to lower transmission costs, Eon Next have reduced SC where applicable on fixes less than 24 months albeit not as of now on Eon Next drive tariff, equally Octopus EV tariffs SC not reducing until 1 April for both new/existing customers.

I have 7.1 kWs of panels, 3.1 facing due west. Compared to the current rates I'll be £40 worse off next quarter. Time check out the other export tariffs....

They're still claiming "Super cheap rates between 02:00 - 05:00" even though that's now over 16p. For our area daytime export is under 10p, and standing charge will increase to over 60p.

IOF rates don't appear to be due to change ..

As daytime export is reducing to 10p and "cheap" night rate is increasing to 16.3p, I'm going to trial no longer running appliances overnight as the lost export is significantly less relevant. As the risk of day import is at a minimum in the summer, at only 11p more than night import, it's worth a punt!

Similar here. South west facing panels, full battery charge by mid day in Spring and Summer so pretty much everything I generate after 4pm gets exported and benefits from the higher peak rate.
