I prefer just 'Code of Practice' because using their name for their joke CoP is legitimising it, in a way.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad PPSSCoP - Private Parking Sector Single Code of PracticeTo UK Parking Control,
PCN number: (removed for forum)
I am writing to complain. I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement.
I will bring it to your attention that the PCN claims a time in the car park of '4 hours & 34 minutes' which is wholly inaccurate as the driver was in the car park on two separate occasions, not the one you claim. These were two different fleeting visits at the times specified in the letter, a 'double dip', and had you done your due diligence you would see that this was the case, and you would have located these orphan images in which the driver could be seen leaving and entering in between the 'entry' and 'exit' time you have falsely specified. The allegation involves an overstay of 34 minutes which is not the case.
I also note, UK Parking Control Ltd has not complied with their Private Parking Sector Single Code of Practice and therefore in breach of the KADOE contract with the DVLA.
"7.3. Use of photographic evidence”
"NOTE 1: The manual quality control check for remote ANPR and CCTV systems is particularly important for detecting issues such as “double dipping”, where image camera systems might have failed to accurately record each instance when a vehicle enters and leaves controlled land, and for checking images that might have been taken other than by a trained parking attendant (see Clause 15). The manual check might also reveal where “tailgating” – vehicles passing a camera close together – is a problem, suggesting relocation of the camera might be necessary."
Also when cancelling this PCN, please update the address erasing my work address & updating with my postal address:

With this information please now cancel this PCN.

Instead of your final line, finish it thusly
If you could be bothered to carry out the required human checks you will find the orphan images of the vehicle leaving then returning. You have obtained the keeper data without reasonable cause. It's a double dip ANPR error case, so you must now cancel this PCN immediately.

@11keeno any reply from UKPC to your complaint, did they cancel your PCN?2

Wondering if you can help one again, they’re refusing to listen to my argument & wont even give me a right to argue this fine as they’re saying its gone past their deadline even though i was sent nothing in time it went to the lease company & not me first.
Not sure where i stand now.0 -
1. It's not a fine
2. Don't worry - you will not pay a penny.
What was their response?2
