Just as another update as time has passed, I went to PPC (https://www.ukparkingcontrol.com/) because time has passed, it says online I can’t appeal & has been passed to their debt recovery team.

Now what? I’m honestly just so worried by this all.

Well you just put in as a complaint to UKPC. Nobody said to appeal (you can't).

Just email a complaint to whatever e-mail appears in UKPC's published complaints policy, telling them it's a 'double dip' ANPR error and attaching your evidence.

Easy to kill off. No need to worry.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are not appealing you write to parking company's DPO to lodge a formal complaint about the company's conduct read the thread I linked.

    To UKParkingControl,

I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a complaint about your conduct.

I will bring it to your attention that the PCN claims a time in the car park of '4 hours & 34 minutes' which is wholly inaccurate as the driver was in the car park on two separate occasions, not the one you claim. These were two different fleeting visits at the times specified in the letter, a 'double dip', and had you done your due diligence you would see that this was the case, and you would have located these orphan images in which the driver could be seen leaving and entering in between the 'entry' and 'exit' time you have falsely specified.

The allegation involves an overstay of 34 minutes which is not the case.

    Kind regards.

Is this enough? Or do I need to add evidence from the school I was elsewhere in this time. I also have banking statements to show, I did shop in there the second time around & also that I got fuel elsewhere during the alleged time.

You might include in any complaints that the ppc has not complied with their useless ppssCoP and therefore in breach of the KADOE contract with the DVLA:-

    https://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/AOS/NEW Redesigned Documents/sectorsingleCodeofPractice.pdf

    "7.3. Use of photographic evidence

"NOTE 1: The manual quality control check for remote ANPR and CCTV systems is particularly important for detecting issues such as “double dipping”, where image camera systems might have failed to accurately record each instance when a vehicle enters and leaves controlled land, and for checking images that might have been taken other than by a trained parking attendant (see Clause 15). The manual check might also reveal where “tailgating” – vehicles passing a camera close together – is a problem, suggesting relocation of the camera might be necessary."

Yes that'll do - but say at the end what you want them to do about it and remove "Kind regards"

"I also note, ppc has not complied...."

Also suggest you put the name of the parking company here (is it UK Parking Control Ltd?)  -  ppc is the forum shorthand for "private parking company".

So just add “with this information in mind, now cancel the parking fine” & remove kind regards
