I just got an airfryer recipe book out of the library today.
my grandson loves helping me make cheese scones in ours, and thats our go to lunch when he is here.
have also made an Irish soda bread in it which went down very well.3 -
@in_need_of_direction you have a point! It is too gross to tell you why I think it is...
@MayDogsandCoffee A fortnight might work for you? I aim for a fortnightly box. I order a medium box to keep me going, rather than a small box.
@Skint_yet_Again it is a one drawer one.
Thank you @Humdinger1 I don't think this veg box does codes. I think you have the Abel one in mind?
@Debsnewbudget good to know you love yours. I am going to get an air fryer cook book from the library today.
Up early. A wash load done and out drying.
A relative asked for some money on a very short term basis. I am close to this relative but said no for the first time. I don't have it without tying myself in knots which I did last month and it backfired. Also, some posters here making me rethink on this matter ...
Glad all the rubbish food is out of the house. About to make decaf coffee with the stovetop espresso machine. I found it has a fuller taste when using it. Need it to make up for the absence of caffeine!
Just took delivery of the air fryer!
Back later with a progress report...
Have a good day everyone.

Hi DIA,
I used to follow you a few years ago under another Alias.
So lovely to see you got your home by the sea. It sounds dreamy being able to go for seaside strolls, and the pottering you are doing in the garden.Unsecured debt at Worst June 2024 - £47,772.48Current unsecured debt April 2025 - £33,449.27Debt gone forever - 10 months - £14,323.21 (30%)Debt free date goal March 20273 -
Hi Dia, fairly new lurker here, I got interested in you journey from a post you made on someone else's diary. Read with fascination, back to the days of squirrels and the 🐸 you needed to eat to get trades people in. Following through your 2 year "wandering" period, while looking for a new home. Through the peaks of hopes and the trials of disappointments, your fortitude and resilience and great heart has moved me to post. To see that you are finally settled, is so very heartwarming. You now need to give yourself space and time, being without your own home and having to be so many things to so many people over such a long period must have been nothing short of traumatic. You must have been so drained and so very exhausted from it all but you managed it with your great inner resources. Now snugly in your own home, your own sanctuary, you can relax and your wings can open fully again to recieve the warming sun from the new spring which is just upon us, and the sun will warm them and you will once again soar. This is your time now, you have arrived and you will thrive. Xxxx5

Thanks @Sunshine_girl2 it was a wonderfully sunny day here too!
Thanks @beanielou and @redofromstart you are both so right. I spoke to relative later in the day and they managed to slip in some information to guilt trip me, but I stayed firm
Thanks @Hazelnutty Oddbox are great!
Thanks @BrimfulofSascha I really appreciated your comment. It hasn't been easy as you know but I do feel thankful every day I see the sea
Thanks @Tresinia511 your post is kind and lovely and reminded me of how far I have come literally and metaphorically! You have summed it up well. Oh the squirrels! They tortured me. But the caring for, then death of my young relative was the real trauma...
Thank you for taking the time to read my previous diaries and for writing such a generous post. You write beautifully and I will try to remember your final lines.
