It's more likely to be just the order we appear in their giant database, probably by a simple index number or hash that none of us ever see. Turns out we are all just numbers, even Patrick McGoohan.

They've given themselves until April 30th to pay this.

Surprised they weren't able to trigger something to everyone (at least those they are crediting accounts of) on one day,

Won't be long before people start phoning them to complain

Look out, Rover will get you number 6.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

My mum received a text message today saying the money is being paid in today. Unless she checks herself, we will check over the weekend. And her surname begins with S.

I just got the text to say its been paid. Looks like ive have to ring them to get them to send me my log in details!

Are you not an "active" member then?

Did you meet the criteria as per the T&C's?

eg Made a transaction or have £100 with them AIUI
    Nope,

I used the accounts years back when they offered a good interest rate on the current account.

As soon as the rates ended, whenever that was, it was the last time I used it. I actually thought I had closed the account.

I haven't checked the t&cs. But I got a letter a month or two ago and today got the text to say the money has been paid into my account.
Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)

Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.

Ah, interesting.    I'm in the same boat, had the original email but didn't think I'd qualify.   No text or additional email yet, and no way of checking because all my log-ins need resetting.   which I wasn't going to bother with unless the £50 was there!  ;)

Anyone else had the money when they didn't think they qualified?
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)
